well i did get my gg1 set and thanks to a good friend i got a killer deal on it its a complete postwar #2159w with the rare #2330 gg1 engine with 5 fright cars made in 1950 no i had to do alittle bit of restoreing to it the engine needed to be rewire that i got that done it needed to be restiped did that last night came out ok not bad for the first time doing it my self and it needed a new horn relay i still have to order it im still shoping around cheapest price iv found so far is $75
Ditto on your Williams comment. I purchased their 773 Hudson a few years back for $225, it"s still only about $345. I have it running with a drop dead georgeous set of Railchief cars from 1988 I believe. With open spoked drivers it's prettier than the Lionel original. Have their Milwaukee Road set on order.
