  • The narrations really help with a more refined understanding of song mechanics. Plus the drumming is top notch, can't say enough good things about your vids, have been watching them one after the other.

  • MY DUDE!!! Mother Fucker what? I have been in the music biz since 96'. Rush has always been my fav and the last few years of my career have all been electronic dance music. You crush that shit!!! How do I get some lessons?

  • a sea of drums.. wow..

  • i really want to thank you for these videos, they really help me remembering songs

  • Excellent dude - love it. keep it coming

  • i love the execution but i can't' stand the narrations on all the songs....

  • Then watch the un-narrated versions. ALl of the songs that I did narrations for are also available without narration.

  • MY GOOD

  • great job! Great narration.

  • This Song And Time Stands Still Were My Favorite Off The Hold Your Fire Album BTW You Did Awesome

  • AMAZING

  • absolutely nailed it bro, youve got a great naratory skill to, very pleasing on the ear very interesting and well executed.

so proud of you once more, top man.

  • I turned down the music and turned UP the narrations, since the voice-over is kind of the point. I think my drums are still audible though.

  • Paulie, once again, very interesting commentary. It is great to be able to hear other drummers give their insight into these songs! Your drum set is so extensive, can you play something utilizing some of the woodblocks and chimes? Thanks for the great videos, Paul.

  • Bravo!

  • Wicked.

  • Very enlightening, It really puts Neils skills into perspective with narration. That is why he is the "Professor" not just sick fills, but intricacy and an exquisite attention to detail. Job well done, stick toss at ending was nasty.

  • I think the sickest fill I have ever seen Neil play was during this song on ASOH. Instead of going from one crash to another, he did a super fast fill inbetween the crashes....

  • pause at 1:20 im by no means making fun at him, im pointing out how enthusiastic he is and how awesome it is that is just awesome nice job

  • Did you catch that last drumstick toss? :)

    Awesome dude!!

  • Yes and no.

  • How the heck does Neil do this so easily?

You look like you have a crap load of skills. How long have you played?

  • i think i saw him say 20 or 30 years and hes selftaught how is thqat possible

  • I don't think Neil does it easily. He's a very disciplined worker and definitely gets everything by the sweat of his brow.

I've been playing for almost 20 years.... with about a 7 year break in the middle when I hardly played since I was at school and I lived in an apartment.

  • I am using your videos to learn how to play these on drums.I hope you don't mind. You could sell these videos!

    Great job!

  • Well... oh, nevermind.

  • great song great video thanx!
