  • The movie is awkward lots of the time with immature acting and writing. But there are also exquisite moments that move me to tears.

  • @trent8002003 I agree many parts of it were excellent but at other times it would make me cringe and disappoint me or not properly convey plot points.

  • @theuglykwan Glad someone shares my feeling. Wan Cheung is a director with SOME talent. But overall, I don't see him maturing into really credible force in directing.

  • @trent8002003 After watching Amphetamine, Byron Pang was amazingly hot and yet the movie was not as engaging as Permanent Residence. Such a shame. He really needs to be given less control over his movies and have someone look over and edit his scripts.

  • @theuglykwan I agree. PR has more heart and soul even though technically Amphat is more mature.

    And the film is absolutely amazing, I believe that it can get an award
