Man , I just wanted Vergil to come back on DMC 5 searching for his Yamato. Even tho he came back from the demon world , He opens up the demon portal linked to the humans once more to find his Yamato. Imagine this , He finds Nero and says : " Give me my sword back... I will not ask again. It belongs to a true son of Sparda and you are unworthy to hold my sword.. " Once he gets it back , Maybe he will continue his quest for power leaving the demon portal open ?

@alexokatana his slashing ball things can go in two ways in a straight line that follows you, just simply run in one direction till it stops or the other one where it just goes berserk just keep running and jumping in different places but if a ball gets in front of you just run from it or if your really good with royal guard just block them all
I bought both the great DMC 4 PC edition and the horrible DMC 3 PC edition. Would buying a PS3 controller allow me to play DMC 3 with good controls? I just couldn't map the buttons and joysticks on my PC 360 controller to be like it is in DMC 4. :( I want to fight Vergil but I can't stand playing with reversed joysticks.
@SuperBeautifulNoise If their advice doesn't work, I've been able to make it through DMD so far with just a keyboard. The only difference in keyboard controls for DMC3:SE and DMC4 is that "I" and "J" are switched around as far as actions (which is customizable :D).
Takes a little getting used to, but easy after doing a few mission runs (and DMC3, Ultimate DooM, and RE5 are the ONLY PC games I have played).

I still dont understand how Vergil lost his final battle with Dante. The first battle they had, Vergil dominated him. The second battle was kind of a draw. In the third battle, Vergil had Yamato and Force edge. He should have been able to demolish Dante. Its kind of sad really. Vergil was one of my favorite characters in the DMC universe.
@docbach329 I freaking agree with you. Vergil Is waayyyy faster than Dante. The first time, Arkham's bitch ass held him back. But the third time, he definitely should've won... But that's how it always is with the damn main characters. lol
@docbach329 well, having force edge withouth the pendants and all was only like having one more sword, it doesnt mean he is stronger.... they where equals in streanght at the end because of dante demon half awakening. Him having the force edge makes no diference.
@docbach329 i think he lost cause he doesn't care about anyone but himself and dante got stronger cause he chose to protect those he loved same as sparda which allowed sparda to awaken his force edge to its true form like dante if you played dmc 4 sanctus didnt have the true form of sparda's sword it was near complete but not full cause he gave up his ability to love or care
@docbach329 He had no idea he was lacking what was needed to awaken the Sparda. Thus, the Force Edge would best be described as a "Secondary, heavier blade" in this fight. Not only that, but Dante probably learned from those other encounters. This explains Vergil's loss.
@aimlesfez No. In DMD you listen to the whole track because it takes over 5 minutes to actually kill Vergil. If you abuse JC you get to hear only 2-3 minutes but that is no fun. The DMD version of this fight is basically what every game needs to emulate for a final boss. It is one of the best final boss battles ever. After Mission 19, the devs owed the players the best battle of the game.
