It amazes me all these armchair pilots, no it wasn't a perfect landing but it wasn't the worst either, all the passengers got to their destination. I would love to see some of these critics try & land a 800,000 lb + aircraft coming in at over 100 mph......Could you do any better?
This is the airline that landed the following year in Kuwait two hours after the Iraq invasion in order to land British undercover military operatives, risking the lives of over 350 passengers.
The same airline whose senior management threatened a British HIV positive passenger with arrest unless he left the relative security of the transit hotel in Kuwait to report to an Iraqi controlled hospital.
