no he was not my first when i bought him he came with the exo terra 12"x12"x24" which is too small for an adult boa... he is in a breeder enclosure now that is 1'x2'x4'.
yo got a question for you if you know when their full size can i feed a boa like 3 large mice instead of a rabbit or chicken just wondering because i might be getting one
dude if you only wanted to feed large mice to a full sized boa, you would have to feed it like 10 because when adult size they eat large or jumbo rats or even small rabbits. Why don't you get a rosy boa instead, they only eat 1 large mice when they are full grown once a week.
@ktizzle188 tht doesnt sound practical...if u dnt want to feed larger prey or cnt afford to feed larger prey every week or so then you should not get a large snake. when they r full grown they can eat nething from large to jumbo rats, small rabbits,chicken...i mean i thnk a mouse would b 2 small 4 a full grown boa to even strangle. my ball python has a death grip on mice n sumtimes pops out they eyeballs a mouse would b mush if a full grown boa got ahold of it.
