  • NIIIIIIIIIIIINJAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

  • now that's a fucking solo!!

  • the singer fuck up

  • Admit it, our brain is not able to understand this music 100%.

  • this is is the shit, but Peter Marino's vocals just ruin it!!

  • @miyavizim could've done without his Fred Flintstone impersonation but his range is appropriate for the song and it works well. Beautiful composition by Becker and Friedman. Genius beyond words.

  • @miyavizim

As usually in shred songs (malmsteen, nevermore) , however I dont think it sounds rly bad, I kinda like it :P

  • oh my god this is... oh wait i eyaculate... where are my jason becker kleenex?

  • why does this song is called ''the ninja''?

  • @eduardo0796 cause the song is fast, and mortal

  • @eduardo0796 ninjas are epic, so is this song

  • This was stuck in my mind for over a year!

  • @jblade2112 and what the fuck is your problem with jews? nigger

  • @hugawandiay and what is your problem with black people, ginger?

  • @Thebugzapperdemo Go figure out, and eat pork. You smelly, bearded, asshole.

  • This song is beyond this planet, too much "epicness" for our weak minds.

  • I got a huge hard on listening to this, it ripped through my pants and smacked my girl.

  • I got goosebumps.

Marty doesn't tune his guitar, he decides which notes are which.

  • is there any instrmental version of this song? I would travel in time to kill the singer.

  • 10 personas no saben lo que deverdad es musica!

  • 0:50 i came...

  • there doesnt need to be singing in any of there songs just my opinion

  • Can anyone tell me the name of the scales that are used at 4:11 ?? The sound of that scale is so beautiful.... :D

  • @KARVAKY hey i dont know the name of the scale but its harmonic minor just google harmonic minor scales and you will find it i know the scale just dont know the name

  • @anotherguitarist22 I know it's a japanese scale, but i'm not sure of which one, maybe Hirajoshi

  • @KARVAKY ohhh yyaya well they were in japan alot lol

  • @anotherguitarist22 Yep marty's style is heavily influenced by japanese scales :P

  • @KARVAKY yaya it sounds soo cool and unique

  • @anotherguitarist22 Indeed. I really love his style :D and jason's too

  • @KARVAKY yep hirajoshi

  • 4:11 Eargasmic moment

  • The intro reminds me of kill bill. Such a bad ass song.

  • awesome.

  • kirk hammet made 9 accounts :P

  • NINJAAAAAAA!!

  • anyone who dislikes this one fails at life

  • @cnarro890 Who Knew So Many People Suck At Life?

  • @ponyboymike I and any other sane member of society for that matter. Just look at the top 40- for both the fans AND the artists.....

  • @ponyboymike I and any other sane member of society for that matter. Just look at the top 40- for both the fans AND the artists..... if they can even be reffered to as artists.....

  • This song has one epic ass intro!!! They were ahead of there time and our time. All you hear now is rock, nothing really special about it. no solos, like a real solo with feelings or any cool riffs. but i'm not hating on our modern rock. lets just say the radio sucks!

  • OKAY WHo THE FUCK PUSHED THE DISLIKEBUTTON!!?!?!?!?

  • @prodirockerd 8 idiots

  • @acrobatanacional first 3 notes sounds like his exotic arpeggio in lydian or whatever. it does tho

  • @acrobatanacional oh yea...

  • @prodirockerd Yingwie fans

  • 8 people are cross-eyed and missed the like button, so sad

  • Comment removed

  • .... 8 are morons!!!!

  • @milhouseThrash1994 now ten of them!

  • I think vocals ruin all speed metal songs, or basically songs that are just guitar played really well but the vocals always sound like a drunk man at karyoky night. I mean listen to the singer hes CRAP

  • I watched these guys grow before my eyes and the guitar players were by far the most amazing part of the band ,But Jimmy the base player and peter and kenny did there part well they all worked hard to perfect there act .They were all young and had to learn a lot about working together. But I would not change a thing about there first album .Iys to bad they did not stay together longer! Oh well

  • I think the vocals are good. They just pale next to the playing of two extraordinary guitarists. But I like how he doesn't sing too clean like in most power metal bands.

  • uhhhh why do 80s vocals suck so bad?

  • not every vocalist in the 80s sucks.

most of them are greatest vocalist of all time.

  • @TheFarriesmetalhead For reals!!

  • @dvpkid stupid comment... Rob Halford, Bruce Dickinson, Jeff Scott Soto, Jeff Martin, Joey Belladonna, Ronnie James Dio, Graham Bonnet, all great vocalists of the 80's (although i admit in some if not all of those cases their prominince was not in exclusively in the 80s). I don't even think Peter Marrino is all that bad. Not compared to most of today's vocalists who whine like little kids or scream inaudibly.

  • albums are recording part by part, each person records their own thing and the producer puts it all together, i bet if you guys did a petition or something, you could get them to whip out the old original tapes and reproduce the album with out the vocals.

    just saiyan.

  • jason and marty they are awsome

  • Two legendary guitarists... and a drummer and some drunk guy singing in some songs.

  • @McRabbid9 don't forget the bassist

  • my english sucks!

  • i like to listen part 0.00 till 1.54.

when the vocal came out,it ruin the song.

any suggestion to song like this or other artist but no vocal?

    anyone?

  • @TheFarriesmetalhead just listen to their songs that have no vocals, listen to the solo albums by jason becker and marty friedman. you might enjoy some yngwie malmsteen too.

  • you can remove the vocals of this song by using audacity if i remember correctly. it's an audio program

  • @TheFarriesmetalhead i like Peter Marrino's vocals. I'm probably the only person in the world who thinks this, but anyway. They are awesome on Desert Island especially.

  • @clem070605 i think he should do the screaming in the albums like he does live

it would sound a little bitter

  • @TheFarriesmetalhead Speed metal symphony and Concerto.

  • necrophagist is for phagots

  • Is it just me, or this song(especially from 4:10 )sounds like sundanese music???

  • 4:10 = the best melody ever created!

  • Man, I grew up on this stuff... and hearing it back after 15 years orso, I'm going like "Fuck Yeah!" amazing stuff still.

  • If only Mozart could listen to this incredible guitar duo!

  • @fwnm8 I'm sure he already has from the great beyond. And he is smiling.

  • @fwnm8 I bet he'd be proud that his era of music had evolved into this beautiful type of music.... excluding the vocals lol. But my god, that long outro solo.......

  • @fwnm8 ... he would cum in his pants

  • i fucking hate how things happen to great musicians, would be amazing if jason just stood up one day

  • 5:42 through 6:32 is the best interlude section of any song ever made

  • Was Marty in this band before being with Megadeth?

  • @frindle8

    Yup!

  • @frindle8 yes

  • @frindle8 fuck yeah!\m/

  • @frindle8 after megadeth

  • @FranKoP No, you are wrong. Marty was in Megadeth till the 2000's. And by then Jason Becker wasn't able to play the guitar. When i asked i was out of it and wasn't thinking straight.

  • U cant just go saying these guys are better then everyone else yes they are both genius guitarists but many great guitarist all have their own Individual unique sound and tone and feeling just like a vocalist u cant just classify them as the best just because technically they can play shit no one else can...

  • Vai was the only guitarist , zappa was satisfied with.Zappa only took the best of the best .He only had musicians who could do more than all on theire instruments.

So i am 100% sure, that vai could play some fast but easy harmonic minor scales. On Zappas CD vai was credited with "impossible Guitars".

Zappas seal of aproval , talks for itself

  • @SOIBand So fucking true. Vai is amazing at guitar, and just because Friedman couldn't find a guitarist, it just tells me he wasn't looking very hard, or just nobody like Vai cared enough to take the part.

  • @SOIBand is not about he couldnt play fast licks or scales,,,i think is about that every guitarrist has is own "sound" and becker was one in none,,there won't other to replace him.

like if steve did a ft with a another guitarrist and for some reason they slit up there wont be other vai to replace him

sorry my english it isnt my main lang

  • @macacodorado you got a point !Of course he wouldnt sound alike he is an another guitiarist ,an other human. You are right it would sound different.but there are a lot other guitarists on this level. It could be good to have a different guitarist i mean y not^^.I guess Marty just didnt want to continue without becker and thats reasonable. But if he really wanted to carry on , he would have found another guitarist on the same level.English isnt my mainlanguage too ^^

  • fucking amazing

  • AWSOME!! masterpiece

    GO jason!

  • The best neo-classical song of all time.

  • wo shit, i didnt know jason becker was part of this ...... thanks youtube

  • I will find a copy of this album if it kills me.

  • @Alex11710 I had one. Cacophony's great

  • I hate these guys cause they didn't make this song longer!!!!!!!

  • seven people are fucking dumbass fucking idiots

  • unfortunate who dislikes this song ...

  • 4:02 is when it starts getting really Epic....the whole songs epic, but i jizz the most to this section

  • the solo section is just BRUTAL and BEAUTIFUL! GOD!!! have u ever heard such badass shit!?

  • For me personally, this album and Jason's Perpetual Burn were the last shred albums to make my jaw drop. It's all opinion, but just the styles and the aggressiveness of those albums really stood out to me. Could have done with a better singer on this album - Jeff Scott Soto from Yngwie's "Marching Out" album would have been perfect on this album in my opinion, but it's really about the guitar anyway...

  • @PTK8168 Fuckin' a right. Great guitar playing intertwined around mediocre vocals.

  • True guitar ninjas.

  • 7 people either misclicked or deserve to die the slowest most gruesome and most brutal televised death ever.

  • they must have misclicked.... or else they are bieber fans, in which case their punishment will be seeing his voice start cracking

  • @classictoheavymetal his voice will never crack, he was castrated

  • this song is just perfect

  • hermosa cancion de 2 grandes de la guitarra

  • Jason we love you!!!

  • is it ok if i shat myself? haha

  • Wonderly Speakin' Why is it called The Ninja?

  • @sadripurgis It is called the ninja....i suppose because ninja are extremely fast....hahaha.....it would make a lot of sense

  • @sadripurgis Probley because the asian sounding scales they used.

  • 4:13 - 5:42 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • how come there is no full tab of this

  • @ivanwulf theres a tab on ultimate-guitar, and two guitar pro tabs. the regualar one's quite good quite good, but the guitar pro versions are only the intro.

  • just cant top it, absolute and utter genius

  • holy shit jason becker is god and marty is jesus

  • Jason's intro is absolutely masterpiece... It is imposible to find anybody who can play those arpeggios with Jason's feeling.

  • @kawaljeri The intro is most likely by Marty Friedman.

  • What is it with the vocals, they're so bad it just ruins the music. Oh well Jason and Marty still rule!!!

  • someday jason will rise up again , and all his muscles will come back and he will shredd like a sabertooth tiger from hell !!!

  • @xSnoweyexp that would be awesome

  • @xSnoweyexp actually that could come true theres been rumors that hes starting to regain some strength and movement he even posted on his website he was feeling alot better and had regained much strebngth

  • @CHICKMAGNET66666 He has lol, and doctors used stem cells to treat MS, and research into treating ALS has promising results atm.

  • BOW TO THE GODS OF SHRED!

  • Fretboard Fucking Ninjas.

  • ultra great! foda!

  • q buenisisisma rola

  • ta XD la rooOla hechaz x loz maeztros becker y friedman puro SHRED

  • it's wonderfull!

  • Are those guitars Hurricanes?

  • No, they are ninjas

  • @GuitarooMan93

    GUITAR NINJAS

  • Landmark album for shred !

  • Hmmmm....I gotta say Necrophagist is quite good but I think Cacophony is even better but the two bands are still AWESOME in my book.

  • it's depend, i love that as much as i do for necrophagist

  • I have to say, although I love Necrophagist, Cacophony is one million times better.

  • @jav90xw

i love both, but you really cant say better because its 2 completely different styles of music. although ill admit i think cacophony is harder and more complex to play

  • @jav90xw I love Suicmez and the Necrophagist guys, but Marty and Jason are just lightyears ahead in terms of expression and 'theme'.

  • Umulamahri : Necrophagist is nothing compare to this.

  • I feels so bad for jason becker, no longer being able to play guitar.

But he still can make music

  • I'd actually say this is better than them, due to the greater diversity of songwriting. But yeah, other that, there's really not a whole lot of metal that's more complex than Cacophony or Necrophagist.

Muhammed's solos give me chills :o.

  • Necrophagist isn't that complex

  • Tell me that after studying the counterpoint in Only Ash Remains or any other song off of epitaph. Obviously it doesn't hold a candle to Cacophony, though.

  • @Malicension hah i love the way u make it sound so complex and musical....

  • @ubershredder1989

Yeah, I didn't know much about composition when I posted that. Necrophagist's wankery is difficult to even consider music, especially in contrast to Cacophony's beautiful work.

  • @umulamahri necrophagia? brazilian band?

  • @umulamahri german

  • rock on Cacophony!!!!

  • Joeydahlia... like black dahlia murder? you're saying this sucks? you're not a very good troll.

  • @joeydahlia We would all like to see YOU do better

  • this is one of the beautiest songs ever performed!

  • @joeydahlia

how the hell is this horrid? this is beautiful with a great amount of emotion and thought put into it. your just a troll

  • @joeydahlia

the only thing you could complain about at all is the singing. but other than that it's amazing

  • successful troll is succesful

  • love the intro to this song!

better is just an opinion. both of these guitarists have said the other is better. When they first started touring Marty was the elder and more experienced of the 2 so Jason looked up to him, but there were times when Marty would be having trouble laying a lick down and would ask Jason to come in and do it for him.

  • Friedman and Becker guitar masters!!!

  • All other Guitarists after this were mostly shadows of tis sound...Not even Vai or Lynch could do the sound!...i was talking to Marty one time after a show, and he said that the limit was that he still couldnt find anybody to play Jason's Parts!...and with that btw i dont think Jason's Album can be topped

  • @666Goddammit666

    Wow cool you meet him

yea jason parts are very difficult to play ;)

i love this song and marty and jason

    keep rockin man

  • @666Goddammit666

WTF!!!!!!! You met friedman!! I hate you...

    hahaha xD

  • jason is THE shit

@666goddammit666 : i totaly agree with you jason becker is my fucking hero, he is a god damn beast

  • Marty is better,

  • @ mikem: ... totaly disagree

why do you think they played togheter , marty saw the HUGE talent of Jason. i am sorry but he is not

  • Nice comment, bad nick
