@Bionistar There was a split timeline in the series after Zelda sent Link back in time 7 years to relive his childhood; there was the adult timeline, and there was the child timeline to which Link was sent back. From there, Toon Link is from the adult timeline, and Link is from the child one.

Then Nintendo threw in a 3rd timeline last week, which just made everything confusing.

Revelation @Bl4ck0p5 Acutely, the whole age thing is debatable, because while in Brawl his trophy dose say that he was 12, in Wind Waker his grandma tells him that he was the same age as the hero in legend, Ocarina of Times Link, which takes it down to him being either 17 or 10 by the games statement, personally I feel he is 17 because the legend formed when adult Link came to the future to save Hyrule

I've never understoof how the Zora evolved into the Rito. I mean, they obviously did, it even says so in the game, but why? Creatures evolve to survive and adapt to their surroundings. Hyrule was flooded, so how did the Zora's evolve from fish people to bird people? why? if its a world full of water, you would expect there to be more zoras than any other type of creature. I'm not raging or complaining, just curious.

@SuperDuperLightHog If you ask me, it's either because Zora's are all freshwater, thus when the ocean came, they couldn't breath in water, or because there were just too many oceanic predators (Ie, Big Octos, Sharks, etc.) to cope with, so they had to evolve wings.
