  • No, I don't know him. Do you?

  • This bus (111) is a loop service. It starts at Ghim Moh, make a loop around Marina Centre and returns to Ghim Moh.

  • There are 5 services; 21, 124, 125, 131 and 186.

  • It doesn't have boarding/alighting facilities. Its just a bus park. Other terminals where you cannot board/alight are Ang Mo Kio Depot, Marina Centre and Shenton Way.

  • Sort of. I can't remember how it looked like exactly. Yes, you can board the bus at the terminal.

  • Yes. It is just a 5 mins walk. Buona Vista Terminal is really a bus parking place. Passengers board and alight from a bus stop outside the terminal.

  • St. Michael's is different. There is a proper terminal and the buses park in berths. There are not many roadside terminals now. Ghim Moh is one of them. The others are Sims Place, Marina Centre and Marina South Pier. As for the name, I guess it took on the name of St. Michael's Road which is nearby. The area is also known as Whampoa.

  • St. Michael's Terminal is located along Whampoa Road, which is within St. Michael's Housing Estate. The estate is located in the central part of Singapore, near to Toa Payoh New Town. It is an old estate, the flats there were built more than 30 years ago. I've only been there once before, a very long time ago.

  • My parents and I used to live with my grandparents at Block 2, Ghim Moh Road. We moved out in 1985 when I was 6 yrs old. My grandmother still lives there with my aunt and 2 cousins.

  • It is located in front of Block 9, Ghim Moh Road; about 5 mins walk from Buona Vista MRT Station. Only 3 services stop here; 92, 100 and 111. There are only a timekeeper's office cum crew rest area, a shelter for passengers and parking lots for 5-6 buses.
