This is the very essence of Soundgarden in full bloom... despite everyone thinkin that its Black Hole Sun... THIS IS THAT SHIT!!!! ps. Long live Chris Cornell and his drug addictive ways LOL
@MrFridaythe17th It was way worse being in your 20s throughout the 2000s. When I was in middle school/high school, bands like Nirvana and Soundgarden were popular. When I got to college, rap and douchebag rock became popular. What I would've given to have gone to a Nirvana concert in college...
It's funny though, because when we were teenagers, we all wished we had grown up in the 60s/70s with bands like the Stones and Led Zeppelin. Now the Grunge Era seems pretty epic in retrospect.
Ok, I dont know a band that should resemble 5 Finger Fuck Nuts, but I'll have to agree on Nickelback.
I do want to remind you that there were plenty of good rockbands in the 00' and the end of the 90's. Such as Queens of the Stone Age, Kyuss, The Black Keys, The White Stripes and the list goes on. In our time there is good music too but it is just harder to find since you won't find it on most common radio stations and stuff like MTV. They mostly promote crap.
@MonkeyyDG I know there is plenty of good music still being made. That's why I don't listen to the radio or even attempt wait around for MTV to even play a music video. I talk to friends and cruise the internet until I find something worth while,
@MrFridaythe17th You should have been. This is one of the many albums that helped me survive my teen years. I'm 32 now, and I pity you. And I still love this.
@TheWheelofLife100 Not only that, but most of the songs are over 4 minutes... and it never gets boring to hear them over and over again... love this record!
@DavidTaylorRocks Yea, it was my second SG album. I really loved superunknown when I got it. I used to listen to it over and over. Now I prefer badmotorfinger :)
Of all the Seattle bands its Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Nirvana that I'm all over for... I don't think any is better than the other. I feel they have different styles of grunge. Soundgarden- grabs you by the throat and does not let go.
Nirvana- takes you to the edge and tells you to jump
Alice n Chains- Introduces you to your worst nightmare and you like it.
Pearl Jam-Gives you a philosophy book and expects you to read it.
