  • How much does it cost? I have a longsword but a short wallet, haha.

Glad to see more instruction in English. I was bummed to find that Agilitas had no plans to continue their line in English. It's awesome to have someone else to go to.

  • I had to go back to check that it did not say wenches and hoes

    (wrenches and flows)

  • I cannot buy this.

I don't care how good it is, there is no f#¤king way I'll own something called "EXTREME fencing", unless the title is meant to be taken ironically.

  • It started as a pun, escrime extreme, and we ended up liking the joke when we couldn't think of a decent title, so we went with it. It's explained in the FAQ.

  • I don't think they think of themselves as extreme. They're probably just trying to reach the general public, who might take a look at something called extreme fencing, rather than longsword fencing.

  • Obviously you didn't notice the reply I've already gotten...

    You fail.

Also, the people who named the DVD fail.

Sure, the word extreme is used ironically, but...

    It's hardly a serious title.

Not that there is anything wrong with non-serious names, in general.

Putting a highly non-serious title on a serious product though, is rather foolish, in my opinion.

  • I didn't fail at anything. My post satisfied me and, that's what counts!

If you don't like it, no big deal.

  • "My post satisfied me and, that's what counts!"

Really? Well if that's all that counts to you, please refrain from actually making your posts.

Just write them in notepad, or whatever, and be satisfied.

  • I find it amusing that people can get so hung up on mere words. If you already know everything there is to know about the teachings of Liechtenauer at al, then you won't need to watch the video. If you have an open mind and like a bit of humour, you may find it entertaining and maybe even a little bit enlightening. If not, too bad.

  • Well, if the DVD is only intended for people who are already aware of what it contains, that would be a valid point.

For everyone else, the title is an indication of the contents.

So while I have heard good things about the contents of the DVD, I still say the title is a matter of utter PR failure.

Humour is good, but only if people actually realise it is humour.

  • Very slick. If only they'd had this 600 years ago (and a DVD player...) :)

  • awesome trailer - I ordered the dvd

I can hardly wait to get it!
