David, the comp chords really add alot of support.Sure is worth the effort.Great Sound.I am working on my comp chords right now. thanks for Sharing. I have your entire course, and I can not believe the sound.
I'm a professional classical pianist,i've recently started to study jazz harmony....i should say that it's so difficult for a classic musician coming from sheet music reading background to let himself free.you're an amazing teacher, everything is so cler, musical and professional for both profesionists and beguinners.
Have been ready to post some of my own advanced chops, tricks, etc. due to the beginner videos I've seen, which are way too basic. But (and no I don't work for these folks) I actually gained practical application of tri-tones here. Basically (as used here) a 3rd & 7th, where as my only understanding was the ominous octaves of a C, then F#, which is why the menacing sound (Devils tones.) But this lesson really opened up some great ideas for me! Thanks a lot for the theory!
Awesome! I've learned piano for 7 years and I know these chords. But still I can't improvise the blues so beautiful like you. I will post a video response soon.
I can't comment on every single of your videos but I think they are probably the most useful on YouTube, especially for intermediate/advanced players. You r actually showing the real thing. Thanks a lot and congrads
I want to thank you for your videos. I have been a retired musician for the last 26 years and planning to strike back, and I find your ideas very interesting and helpful. You are a gifted teacher and I am enjoying the hours I have been watching these videos. Thanks again.
this is the stuff that they never told me at music school and now, getting all this knowledge I can finally take pride in saying that I went to music shool for 8 YEARS!!! Not be ashamed and say that I only know how to play Bach...
absolutely incredible. i have been wanting to learn these things for a while and its good to finally see people who love music and want other to share that love. you are truly a blessing
This is the best progressive learning method on internet ever! I'm classical educated and we even had to play "blues/jazz" compositions strightly from the notebook. And if you played a wrong note, you had failed. But it's now i understand the function of this improvisional nature of music!
Hey great work! I've been playing guitar for almost 20 years & just picked up a keyboard for my studio but can't play a note! haha...this has really helped get me started and explained some mysteries about chords I never quite understood all the years. Awesome!
I have learned so much from this video. I took lessons a year ago for about three months, therefore, i am keeping up with and learning a whole lot. The Blues are my favorite. I sing in a blues band and this is helping me out with that also. Thankyou very much. Natalie

Thanks! One of my short comings is inversions. I'll have to master it to not fumble over the board for chords. Thanks again, for your instructions.
