ericcontroversy, I say this not in words of anger, but I'm not even black and I sing these gospel songs. And if you die not believing in God and if your heart isn't pure you going straight to hell. I've seen demons and I've seen the unseen when I was younger. Everyone has their opinion about things but if you didn't have anything nice to say about gospel then don't say it at all!

Mary Mary is a wonderful representation of God and gospel music. I can always feel their sincerity and they're so genuine. It also makes it easy to receive their messages in song because I sense their integrity and the desire to live for God...not to be perfect in Christ, but to be respectful to their creature and true to who they are. I have always loved their music and will continue to pray for them and support their endeavours. Mary Mary is the real thing...may God continue to bless them!!!!!

And the reason why we sing songs to God is to magnify His name. He does so much for us each day just by letting us breathe again. They are real,just listen to this video. It's not about having a "traditional sounding" gospel album, it about reaching lost souls out there and uplifting and inspiring saved souls. There's all kinds of gospel music out there for everyone,don't judge for not sounding traditional. I applaud them for thinking out the box. Many of the commentors that have issues with artists like MM haven't really tried what they do by the Spirit. There is not an ounce of Holy Spirit in someone's opinion being played for doctrine. Mary Mary are doing GOD'S thing. If God be FOR them , who can be against them? I can't wait to see the worship in Heaven! Why do you continue to say, "given our heart ot "God"?" God can be anything to anyone. The average Christian may know who you are talking about because you have said you are gospel artist, but what about those who are not Christian. To the Hindu, when you make that statement, they will more than likely register that to mean giving their heart to a Hindu deity. You have to be specific. We are called by the Holy Spirit, to surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ, who is God, but specifically Lord.

God is a part of everything you do? Then why is it most if not all of your songs never reference Jesus by name, not even Christ. Anybody can listen to your music and not know who you are talking about. You are such a fraud. I don't hate you, but I totally dislike the way you promote worldliness in the church. My point is, they are intentionally trying to be as mainstream as they can because they want to gain the world's attention, but they do not want ot loose their church audience. If they are suppose to be singing "gospel" music, then don't you think it should have the object of the gospel message in it, i.e. Jesus.They claim that they are introducing the world to Jesus(which I question any way), but if they are,it is strange that they never refer to him by name. They most definately do say Lord, God, & Jesus in there songs, u must just be referring to a few songs that give the listener a positive message, & dnt have to say his name in all their songs, i bet u couldnt find one person that knew their songs & didnt kno it was gospel, i recently commited my whole life over to the Lord from listenin to their son "i worship you" look it up please & God bless u, & allow u to open ur mind a tad
