And I loved Pendulum but honestly the only things that's DnB about them at this point are the beats. Otherwise they're just metal. Not really what I'm into.
And some people prefer using their own drums and sequencing them. I like both personally. Fresh just chose to use the amen this time.

@BakedNagasaki It's actually a revamped version of oldskool breakbeat hardcore that was dubbed 'Hardcore Breaks' in 2003 by people on the Back To The Oldskool forum and Nu-Rave dot com forum. It's been around a while, as has J-Tek and Rave Breaks, but the big artists never knew about it 'cause they are unavoidably stuck in Dnb / Dubstep land. Now they seem to think that they pioneered this rave revival, same as the NME thought it was going to pioneer one.
@realnurave i really think it's ridiculous how people latch on and squabble about their sub-genres. it's all edm anyways and noone cares about who came up up with it first and who's the best at it.... just appreciate the music when it's good!!
@caraohiggins I'm only putting the facts out there, and the facts are that a) this is not some new idea that Skream etc. have come up with, and b) the people who have been making this music for the last 10 years don't call it 'Future Jungle'. Old 91-92 'hardcore, '93-'94 jungle onto drum and bass of the mid to late 90's had a huge influence on the records I make today...and I'm in the USA. Peace to the UK scene, always.

Any place that can consistently produce proper talent like this is where I need to be, and unfortunately this type of quality sh!t will never EVER get any play in the States! I know it's bad here when one has to rely on chance surfing of youtube or internet radio to come across choons like this!!

@twistedpompey I'm an old schooler, spinning since '88, producing since '94. While I don't feel dubstep so much, I definitely agree with you on this statement. Old 91-92 'hardcore, '93-'94 jungle onto drum and bass of the mid to late 90's had a huge influence on the records I make today...and I'm in the USA. Peace to the UK scene, always.

And ive recently been listening to BBC radio 1 and i must say all their music blows ours OUT OF THE FUCKING WATER.... yeah their are good artists here too but they dont get any radio play, just that piece of shit lil wayne and lady gaga blah blah blah...
