have a question: i found on a website a'91alpina b10 biturbo with 41k km, and the price is, well, lets just say its in the mid six-figures. is that actually the current market price for these? i know there were only like 500 made, but usnt that really, really high? why not just by a couple bentleys or something?

mid six-figures,as in 500.000?dude if is so buy a fucking ferrari who will smoke it.also if they ask u ofr money in advanced its a fraud,if the vendor is bulgarian,romania,arab,russian­,yugoslav or polish BE CAREFULL.if it got 41k please put it on a BMW service to make a full test(to see if the car was or wasn/t cosmetized for sale).also ask for a certificate who will show u the origins and owners,and service record.but it doesent make any sense at that price just go for the ferrari:D

Sorry dude but alpina do make the odd bad car they tried with the Z8 which was terrible. They gave it less power and changed it from manual to an auto. But other than that alpina do make fukin fantastic cars.

ye they do try way too hard have you seen the stupidity of the sl roadster that brabus made its ridiculous way too much power to control so most of it ends up wasted. I'm a big fan of power as long as its used other wise what the fuck is the point of a million horses that can't bet a golf gti.

They didn't make it bad you imberscile. They changed what kind of car it was. They took the Z8 which was supposed to be a super roadster and then they made it into an accesible GT car. Besides it was still faster round a track than the normal Z8.

The Z8 is one of those cars that should never have been built, so there was not really any point trying to fix it. It has way to many different little issues that combined ruined the car and it never knew what it wanted to be and alpina didn't really change that. Its still a car unsure about it self. So alpina is at fault for making the car bad its just that they didn't really fix it into a car that was good so it remains a bad car, one made by alpina.

I totally agree. The Z8 had a twisted soul. Not really a supercar but not a GT either.

Alpina fixed it, and turned it into a cruiser.

I like to think the Alpina Z8 was closer to what the customers wanted, than the original BMW.

Brabus stick a supercharger on. Alpina completely rebuild the car. Alpina put Brabus to shame and BMW put Mercedes to shame.
