Excellent video. Some of the best attention to detail I have seen on you tube. I used a Cry baby shell because I could never make a wood shell as good as you did. your wiring was very helpful. The pinion and rack made from plastic was excellent craftsmanship.
If you send me an email asking for the templates, I'll also send you a wiring diagram showing where to place all the components and how to wire them together.
I wanted to ask you if I can use a 500K or a 250K pot instead. I ask this because I'm not going to use it as a volume pedal. I'm building a MIDI controller, so no audio is going through the pot. In this case, do you think the pot's value changes anything at all?
Mirland came up with an interesting alternative volume pedal design. However, looks like it only rotates less than 45 degrees, giving a lot less change in resistance and thus a lot less volume control.
Again, my email is brodafinjr@optimum.net for the wiring diagram or any questions!

@brodafin I would love the wiring diagram etc for this. Where do I email you? Great pedal.

how to solder the cap on pot, and on which two lugs to connect wire from jack?
FlyerKV 10 months ago
It's best to stick with the values indicated.

Can I use 500k pot? Do I need to change the cap then?

Hey, great videos! I'll start right now, hahah.

Thanks! Greetings from Argentina

@JuanAgustinLopez
No, because dynamic levels are stored within the MIDI data and would not work.
