@ryoushinsazaki The harmonics? The one on the 4th fret is a bit tricky, but it's there... It's 5 on the bottom 3 strings, then 7 on the B and then 5 and 4 (n the B still). Thanks for watching and writing :)
@AnarchyAhead I've seen and read some of your other posts, I like the edgy type of some that you do... it's not perfect but it's got attitude! I'll have to look at some of your band stuff.
I used to play in a punk band years ago and go to watch loads of bands.... I'd prefer it when bands that do covers are a little original..... if it's perfect then I can stay at home and listen to the cd can't I!
Keep playing, I like your style, I've started improving my guitar work, you're an inspiration
@AnarchyAhead I stopped playing with that band a few weeks ago, I'm looking forward on writing my own stuff. I've started some songs long ago and never got to finish them. I agree with you about the covers (altough it's not what I'm doing on my videos... at least not consciously lol). I'd rather band print their own personality on cover versions. Thanks a lot for your words, amongst the best things an aspiring musician can hear, is that his work has managed to inspire someone. Take care! =)
I'm totally a beginner, but I've loved Siouxsie for years, and these videos are totally inspiring me to push myself and get better on the acoustic so one day I can feel confident to go electric. Maybe next year.
@mamafeenix You'll possibly find the electric easier to play than the acoustic... the strings are easier to hold, and the notes sustain much more. I'm happy to be able to inspire you! Thanks for writing!
I'm trying to play the intro(notes).I have the first 9 notes nailed...E F# E....F# E F#...
G E G.......Can you post/mail the rest of it (just the notes) ..Thanks!...Is the entire segment played on just the high E string or are you alternating between both E & B Strings?..
@stralight321 Hi, thank you! From where you stopped there it goes E G E G F# G F# G F# F# E F# F# E... but you have to release them after every note to get the loose E string to sound in between the notes. It's all played on the E string. I didn't do a tab to this one yet because I think the verses aren't correct yet.
@Guedzilla This is actually wrong, you don't play the open E string, you play the B on the 12th fret, as it was kindly pointed out by /barrystock on the video response :)
Cool man. Great job. Sorry about this, but I want to know wich guitar is better to play songs from Cure, Siouxie, Bauhaus, etc. (dark goth and similar bands) I will buy a guitar, so wich is better to me: Ibanez grg 150, Squier telecaster or Squier stratocaster. Yes, I'm a begginer.
@danielguerracaballer Thanks dude. That's a hard question... Robert Smith used a Telecaster for some time... the Stratocaster is perhaps the most versatile guitar ever... but the Ibanez seems to be a good choice because of the pickups layout. I suppose the best thing would be to play each of them a little and see what feels best for you. And mind you, don't get tricked by the quality of the amp you're testing them on...
umm... I ran it through a compressor and then into Guitar Rig 2, I think it was going through a CAT distortion, a flanger, then split signal into a "Lead 800" cabinet and a "Jazz Chorus". With the chorus on it on. Then some reverb, and heavy EQ-ing after everything.
Keep these up!!! I am just learning guitar now and love watching these

Hi again Guedzilla..
Thanks for your tips regarding Happy House..I've mastered that first intro part now!..
Can I request an intro to a classic track from the 1980's?...
...'I want candy' by Bow Wow Wow...
Be great to nail the intro to that song!
Cheers..

@danielguerracaballer My personal pick would be the Telecaster... aestheticaly. But you might miss a humbucker pickup for some fatter sounds.
