Personally I have found more success with a non-dynamic line that does not stretch like the powerflex does, especially on long leader nymph rigs. That little bit of stretch in the leader is just enough for me to miss some fish.
Especially on the Bow, you dont need to worry about tapered leaders for nymph rigs. By putting the swivel up top after about 18-24" of butt section you can use straight tippet, preferably flouro. Tight lines.
Very good tips. Can't wait to use it on the Arkansas next summer. Where do you get the indicator and the small swivel? Can't find them on the net. Thanks
Good advise Nate.
