Without Governments, prohibitions, envy, madness and all those other stupidities, our planet would be our Paradise in the entire Universe, where we could live in! So, why we are looking for other planets, instead to learn enjoying what we have?

@costaricanhero maybe because this paradise is impossible or very hard to reach. IMO it is our animal nature that makes us want power, money, to be beautiful and famous, etc. To reach that paradise it would need for everybody to change their way of thinking, and raise their level of consciousness. One way for this is education. I came to these thoughts by myself, but I know i'll educate my children in this way, to respect and love every form of life.

@G4L4HG4 I like that one, 'cause that's exactly the way I think! " higher Consciousness" or "superior Awareness"! You are also right by saying it needs education! In that case I believe in global education, so that people will understand how much worth it is to respect and to love our blue planet! Hereby I believe, that respect and love to our unique nature needs to take the prior part! Very nice and smart to start with this by your own children!

@G4L4HGVery interesting opinion but have you seen any animals being hungry for power, money, fame, etc??? I will agree on education and on respect for every living form :)

@noizGenerator Animals don't have a form of money, at least as far as we know. Most species still try to acquire other forms of social standing, however. This just isn't manifested in other abstract things like money and fame. They are still tribal and competitive and nature and aspire to get to the top ranks of their society. And the idea that power, money, and fame are trivial pursuits is a relative opinion. Some have become happy through their success in acquiring these and they may disagree

@noizGenerator do you know the concept of fitness? An individual that is adapted to his environment will have a higher fitness (reproductive success) and thus his genes will spread in the population. A fitted animal is one that survives better and reproduces more. IMO In human societies, wealth will permit better survival of your children (better access to treatments etc). Money is just something that came with the complexification of humans societies.

@noizGenerator If you take birds, for example, a male that builds a better nest will have more reproductive success. Money, power and fame are complex ways to show other individuals that the children they will have with you will be successful and thus that their genes will spread. Thus, you get a good reproductive success.But IMO these ways are incompatible with peace. We humans must understand this and stop behaving like animals, if we want to survive.

@costaricanhero and to reply to you imo the people who are searching for other planets/life in the universe are conscious of all this and that this paradise is nearly impossible to reach, so they prefer to let their imagination fly away from this world, be dreamers, and try to answer the last unanswered question: where do we come from? This is my case ;)

@G4L4HG4 I believe, that wherever men faith goes, for one those thoughts will become reality! That's only a matter of materialization - the 5th dimension we are able to enter. I'm very far from any religion, but I was surprised when I acknowledged that also the bible contains some incredible pieces of wisdom, by reading the part which says, that faith can move mountains. Thank you for taking your time to sharieyour thoughts with me! I really appreciate that! (Btw, what "imo" stands for?)
