Some things you need for optimum health from meat that you can't get in supplements. Just have to be aware of what your body needs.. even more so if you alter the natural way. I have allot of respect for vegans and vegetarians especially those who are against the mass slaughter and inhumane procedures and try to do something about them. That said though death is part of the circle, as the Horned God does show.
Amber K's book is wonderful. Be sure to make copies of the polls so you can keep track of how your craft changes over time.
Grimassi's has some helpful stuff in there. I like how you shows different variations of the Horned God.
some of Silver's poems are very nice but I'm glad you're aware of the controversy... Historical information aside she is just too anti-Christian for my taste. I can't blame her but at the same time the rhetoric does no-one any good.
Please tell me what a Wiccan is. I'm so confused!! Are you Wiccan? Cause it sounds like it. Wiccans don't really worship Satan right? They just to witchy kind of stuff right? I'm stupid. Awesome haul. I'll sub you.
@CameraGirl4AGdolls Nope Satan is Christian, not Wiccan though the image of the Horned God has been applied to him.
Wicca is a nature centered religion which sees the physical world as an expression of the Divine which we come to know through and as The Goddess and God. All gods and goddess are seen as aspects or parts of these archetypes. The deities called on depend on the Tradition/practice of the Wiccan in question. It is a magickal path with roots in Celtic and Ceremonial Magick.
@CameraGirl4AGdolls Wicca encourages one to study other paths and form relationships with many deities. The Goddess has three distinct aspects - Maiden, Mother, Crone which are the womens mysteries. The Stag/Father/Sage are the mens mysteries though the dual aspect Holly/Oak King aspect of the God is used most of the time. Wicca is very open and while there are things that make Wicca what it us. The only "rule" as far a ethics is to harm none. "rule" as in more of a thought process.
Bright Blessings Sista... my dealio is that if the book vibes well with your consciousness... that is all that matters... any other person's critic is of their consciousness and how that book vibed with them... Groove on to Your own Awesome Pulse =oD I am one who personally is cool with Silver RavenWolf and have also heard others comment on her as not being a preferred author, but I've also heard others say they Love Her writing, so it's really up to how You connect with the author. Blessed Be~
@DracoJesi ---I haven't felt ill-intent, yet, but i have noticed differences in teaching in comparison with other authors. I thank you for your response to my comment~
With too many authors expressing inconsistencies... it can make it challenging to know who has the more correct perspective.
@lexxintegra Well that was just a general but of advice.
As for Ravenwolf, she makes some comments on Christianity that are... rather insulting to that path. Yes there is a history there that such comments stem from... But you can't really put any path in a box... especially as some Christians throughout the ages have been Alchemists, Magicians, Witches ect. To be fair it's probably not as intentional as it might come across. I've heard she's gotten better at that though? Blessed Be.
@DracoJesi ---Good point for any author to keep in thought... we may point out the history of our path with others, but really should do it in a most considerate form as it's true that Christianity and other religions are very similar in a lot of traditions... May as well aim to be respectful :o)
I got to say I love your videos! Also seeing you with those books talking about a bookstore in your home town I really miss my hometown with its bookstore where I used to go on bookk shopping sprees when I could afford it. anyways keep making videos your awesome! Blessed be!
I have the craft companion it is full of spells and has pages left for notes. I also got the craft too it is a very good book good luck in your journey. Blessed Be
Dephinatly check out solitary witch! it too is a GREAT book!
I love the incense holder as well : ) I also had to buy the lady sheba book just to have in my collection. I find it ver intersting. Also I have Covencraft by Amber K and she is wonderful. Great video!
my hair picks up really easily because i'm naturally dirty blonde. it does get a yellowish tint to it but i've kinda got down this method which takes most of it out. i purchase BW2 bleach at sallys and mix it with 30 TONER. then i leave it on for like an hourish.afterwards i wash with clairol bright lights which is a toning shampoo. then i put ANOTHER toning thingy on lol which is called clairol extra platinum mixed with 30TONER then rinse and shampoo again. complicated but cheap and worth it :)
OMG! I love your videos! Are you an Aquarius or Taurus? I can see those signs in you...Maybe Gemini? Idk, but you've got really good energy, you're very strong, fiery and a little fierce. You also feel very warmhearted, too. Blessed Be!
Wow thank you! i've never gotten that. i'm actually quite the opposite. i'm a pisces! no one can ever guess though but i really am a true pisces to a T. thanks so much for subscribing and for the sweet comments!
As a Pisces also, we actually have a lot of the different elements of the other signs as we are the last house. I used to think I was just spastic and crazy cuz I change so easily.. till I found out we have attributes from all the signs... then I was like.. WOW .. that is why! Also, love the SRW book.. she is a good author... Dorothy Morrison also!!! BB
The Craft... by Dorothy Morrison was the first wiccan book I bought when I was starting out on the path. It was very helpful to me and is still a frequent reference. Enjoy!
Love the Meatloaf! Be sure to cleanse and charge used books so you don't get any one else's energy. Our books are very intimate places of learning for us, they are tools like the crystals and athames etc., I even do this with new books when I feel the need. just a tip! Merry Meet and welcome!
Wow what an awesome incence holder! I like cedar wood the mostly Ill have to look out 4 ur one when i go over to my local surplierer :D! We need a best bargain books in our country i thinks!
thats my ultimate fave as well Nag Champa rules =) yay Meat Loaf. True magick looks so good, if you like that one a good book for you would be The Real Witches Kitchen by Kate West x
Wow great books! I am looking into some of the books u showed. :)....Im not far from Long Island I have to check out that store. Those are some really great prices. :) Great vid
@CoconutSummer11 yesss i love him SO much, was basically raised on him haha i am SO jealous of you getting to see him that many times. i've seen him once and i'd pretty much of died if i had gotten to meet him lol. you just become more awesome by the minute huh?
Good choices and I'm also going vegan! Might I recommend another Grimassi book by the title of "The Witches Craft" as well as Phyllis Curott's "Book of Shadows". They are my favorite two so far; Grimassi writes in a way that really appeals to me and Curott's book is about her first year and a day in the craft. I'm not sure how I feel about RavenWolf either; I have her part of the Sabbat collection by Llewellyn, she wrote about Halloween/Samhain. Anyway, good luck with everything! ^_^
@WicceNyki I will definitly be checking out those books thank you for the reccomendations. as for the ravenwolf book on halloween i was planning on picking that up soon. i had no idea there were other books on the other sabbats. i must check out the llewellyn website.
Yeah, Llywellyn did a series and each had a different author, with the exception of two. I also have Grimassi's Beltane and Morrison's Yule. Some are hard to find, Amazon and Half-Priced Books are good places to check. I got mine at HPB for about $8 each, I think.
