Can anyone tell me where the oil drain is on the Tecumseh? My dad flooded the engine and now the thing won't mow more than a fifth of the yard without dying. I cleaned the spark plug and that seems to give it about fifteen minutes of life, but it's really annoying to stop and start. My yard looks like a mullet.
@AV27 it is on the bottom of the engine. it is a little plug that is exactly big enough for a 3/8ths ratchet to fit into. it is easier tho to just to put the mower on its side and let it pour out where the dipstick goes. if that doesnt do it i would suggest cleaning the carburetor and if that doesn't do it you prob have a bad ignition coil
Take the gas tank & the pull cord off, then you will see a nut that holds the cup shaped metal thing around the shaft, revove it with a big socket wrench think 24mm but i'm not sure.. you should see a small rectangle that is not lined up like it should be. Ytpe pull cord backfire to see a instructional repair video from someone
Where did u get that back, OF course thats a grass catcher? What kind of bag is that?

Look for lawn mower repair flywheel key replacement. At 1:32 is not lined up so it backfires on you
