Yeah, there have been a lot of complaints about the Stryker. A lot of soldiers in the Army (the Army is the only branch with them) have been lobbying to get rid of the silly thing for a long while, and replace it with the M113A3, which we have thousands of.
But, you have no right to criticize the Army (or military) as a whole. The ones who are too self-absorbed to let the Stryker pass away are Generals and Colonels who think they know better than the grunts on the ground.
this is all too common these days. Men get too comforable in their armored vehicles and dont get out. Hell you have officers leading men on the ground from inside these things its rediculous.
LOOOOOOOOOONG fuse. So much for the much-publicized "we don't have to get out, we just sit in here and watch everything on video" "capabilities" or the Stryker.
The big problem for the US is that the not-so-stupid guys had started to think and they came to the conclusion that they wouldn't want to be killed for the one-world finance hyenas.
The conclusion: only the stupid guys are still in iraq.
It's not even the first time this stuff has happened. In the 1800s Indians, would steal U.S. army horses while the troops slept even when the horses were tied to the troops. The troops would wake up with cut rope around their wrist and no horse. 150 years later these guys still haven't learned to put a sentry out. I wonder what would have happened if those wheels were stolen off the vehicle instead of blown up. How would one explain that away?
"Bet you they were pissed to be waken up from there nap.The truth of it is they probably felt it and heard it but as for that machine being destroyed well I doubt it"
What Army tolerates no close-in security for its vehicles? If you think this is AOK and that no damage was done, I doubt that you have any common sense.
Beautiful shot had to be a bit more blast !!!!!!

Let's see; 8 replacement tires --- of the model used on the Stryker --- amounts to...
...approximately USD$12000.
Oh well, they'd wear them all bald in a couple of says anyway!

Then stop offering them easy American targets in wheeled trucks. Blamin Allah for our own stupidity isn't going to solve the problem.
