I think air humidity, climate and distance affect the sound we hear. (or erwans had changed some sound spectrum while working on this clip, ha?

I feel i am so small when i see this wide landscape. I' ve never been there in Portland, it looks like german landscape in winter. The train vitalized the environment. Thanks for posting.5*

Excellent video Ervans! That train is special! But why does the train always stops? And by the way isn't there any snow in Oregon? I thought i it was in the northern part of USA? Lot's of snow here in Norway though. Came 5 inches this night. 5/5 and Merry Christmas!!!!

Thanks, it's just doing short Holiday runs. Last year we had 10 in. at this time, but some years we get very little snow.

Jonern...here in Portland we are settled into the Willamette Valley.... between the Coast range mountains to the west and the Cascade mountains to the east.....making for cool winters with average temps between 35 and 50 degrees fahrenheit, our snow days are few usually, but when it does snow......the whole Valley is simply beautiful. From what i have seen and heard...Norway is also a very beautiful place. Happy New Year !

OK! Thank you for the answer. Here in Norway we often get cold air from Russia and Siberia who can make tempratures faling down to -22 F. But usually it doesn't get colder than 23-10F. Happy new year!
