I landed at Henderson Field in 1986 in a C-130 with 5 other US Marines. We had to wait on the tarmac for a Customs official to come aboard. He walks into the plane with a can of bug spray and douses the whole place. Too funny!

judging from the sweat on Mr. Nielsen's shirt after landing, looks like either the airplane had no air conditionining or it took several takes for me to meet the biologist on the tarmac!

Did not know Leslie Nielsen would do this kind of doc. Guadalcanal as well as many Battlefields must hold energy from the fallen ...~ 25,000 lost ...The sacrifice the waste .Shameful all that is left for the Japanese soldier is a poorly maintained memorial. At least the Americans did it right with a proper memorial to honour those who gave their lives for the cause

We had our war in Croatia in 1991, so i met some of our veterans...amzing people
Of course you had a rough time there in Vietnam 10 000 km from home...in jungle

THANK YOU for this upload and hopefully, soon more...didn't know that Leslie Nielsen did this type of thing...i think he was drafted in the later part of WWII...he's a GREAT actor and an awesome storyteller as well.
