Bowie should perform a gig totally dedicated to doing all of the Outside album, IMO that would be just fantastic, a real privilige to see...... I get the impresson there's unfinished business in his mind regarding the trilogy Outside was mean't to be part of...he does not normally return to projects but you never know!

And was Trent Reznor inspired by Bowie in the 70s or even the 80s? Very likely as well. So this concert [where Bowie toured with NIN] was almost a logical conclusion.
They both influenced each other! if i remember, Trent listened to Low alot while making an album! thats what inspired him! and then Bowie heard some of his stuff! and made outside :)

He's been making music longer than 30 years... but I've been a fan since before I was born.. :p My aunt is a huge bowie fan, and she infected me before I was born. I was obsessed. I cried when I found out his last name wasn't actually Bowie. (I was 5)

Well, I have been his fan for, lets see... for 15-16 years now. And it started not with music, first I saw some of his awsome movies: Merry Christmas, Mr Lawrence and Man who fall... What an experience! He is such a talented actor! And then I saw the Galss Spider tour and some other concerts from TV (unfortunatley I was just a baby, when he was doing Ziggy and Thin White Duke etc), and my soul belongs to him and his music since those days...

No worries mate! It goes without saying that Bowie is a contemporary cultural genius. There is no more artistically accomplished artist in modern history. We're just having a laugh, in the very same spirit as David's incredible sense of sublime humour. By the way; one should never mention Mr. Bowie The Icon and Robbie Williams in the same sentence, that's just wrong. Just to clarify; David's been creating the most innovative music in the modern musical landscape for over 40 yrs now!!not 30.

The man's an incredible musician and his work is pretty well consistent in terms of quality. But that doesn't mean his fans are blind. The man is fucking gorgeous. Immense talent doesn't make that any less true.

Well, I for one appreciate BOTH. Mister B is a gorgeous, sexy, musically gifted fellow and his music is excellent (I have EVERY STUDIO RECORDING THE GENTLEMAN EVER MADE!) So, it's not all about the looks, but the looks are part of it -- but the music does count, and like I said, it is excellent

Not saying all of you are just following trends! I know plenty of people that aren't.. I just wish you'd actually listen to the music and understand it. Get it. Feel it. Not everything is about the Bowie.. well mostly it is because he's yummy, but the music is important.
