  • An excellent set of reports and post game analysis. Your army seemed better painted than anything I can do at the moment! It does seem a shame that if someone pays for a bought pro-painted army then they can score so much higher on the overall rankings. You got top marks for sportsmanship and won 5 out of 6 battles - that tells me all I need to know about you as a player and person. Keep this good work up and good luck for next time.

  • While you may not have scored as high as you would have liked in painting, I thought that the colour scheme you chose, though simple, was striking and really stayed true to the High Elves. Good of you to accomplish this without using blue.

  • 20 is not bad dude...very nicely done

  • hey vaul, do u remember top 5 races in this tourney?

  • ha, how did i know Phil Comins was gonna do well :). Suprised he didnt come 1st tho

  • FYI Phil Comins is also the player featured in the wood elf vs high elf battle report that I posted a number of weeks ago.

  • I also played against his high elves Over the top 2008.....not a nice list

  • Well I think that you can get over the paint score problem pretty easily. Movement trays are easy and cheap to build, banners are easy to repaint and make a bit livelier, conversions are harder but a centre piece can be done as well.

Any way well done on 20 :)

  • I think painting score shouldn't really effect the tournament. Sure, having a shitpainted army facing you isn't "fun" and just drag down the feeling. But I felt they just nitpicked at you =/
