I understand what people are saying about MJ stealing the attention away from Farrah's death, but I believe she therefore had a far more dignified death. Farrah herself was never a lover of the spotlight in any case. She hated the press writing negative things about her. She fought so hard for her life and she won 3 years back, which is pretty impressive. The woman was an angel on earth and now she is a real angel in heaven. RIP and God Bless Farrah and her family.

I really was saddened to hear Ryan did not get to marry her in time, but they were soulmates and the love did show. I did enjoy watching Charlie's Angels and she did touch many people. It's a shame that Jackson's death has overshadowed the death of a very brave woman who lost a long, hard-fought battle with cancer. I'm sure Farrah Fawcett's battle has been an inspiration to many cancer patients. I saw her excellent documentary in May. When they ran it again after her death, it was harder to watch. It was especially heartbreaking to watch Farrah get the news that the cancer had returned. She's a real angel now in a place where there is no pain.

Most of the St. Jude patients don't have to deal with the media while going through treatments. Ms. Fawcett did NOT want to go through this publically, she was forced to! She took a horrible situation and made what she could of it to help others! I am proud of her and thank God for her being "rich and famous" so that she can be a source of hope and strength for those other moving stories in St. Jude.

When my sister died of lung cancer, we bought the THC off the street to make her brownies. She could not eat, or would not eat after chemo. Thank heavens we were able to make the "brownies" for her because only then could she keep anything down. Now, for my brother, dying 2 yrs later w/lung cancer, he was prescribed cannabis in pill form by his doctor. He loved it, joked about it, and took it while always joking about it coming thru US Mail. We live in Florida.
