I dont think Mexican legends are gone because of manny. All those fighers he fought, Barrera, El Terrible, and de la hoya, where already out of their prime. If he would of fight them in their prime, he wouldnt be that successful. But again I am not taking anything away from manny. He is the best boxer right now. I have respect for this guy. One more thing, i think if they give another chance to Marquez, he will beat him.
Barrera and Morales were actually still in their primes when Pacquiao fought them. The scary part is that in his early fights with these guys Pac was not close to being as good a fighter as he is now. He only had that left hand while his right was in the works. @anibalsc Marquez looked good against Pacquiao, but he didn't (in my opinion) didn't do enough to convincingly get the victory. Both fights were close, but Pacquiao won both by slim margins. Morales was the only Mexican boxer to convincingly beat Pacquiao.

I dont think Mexican legends are gone because of manny. All those fighers he fought, Barrera, El Terrible, and de la hoya, where already out of their prime. If he would of fight them in their prime, he wouldnt be that successful. But again I am not taking anything away from manny. He is the best boxer right now. I have respect for this guy. One more thing, i think if they give another chance to Marquez, he will beat him.

Barrera and Morales were actually still in their primes when Pacquiao fought them. The scary part is that in his early fights with these guys Pac was not close to being as good a fighter as he is now. He only had that left hand while his right was in the works. I want to see a third bout with Marquez for sure. It's nice to see a classy Mexican boxing fan among the many rotten apples.

A good comment but I have to disagree. MAB, EM, and JMM were still in their prime when they fought MP, especially MAB. MP fought them when he was just a one dimensional fighter.
