  • this music is cool

  • What name this music?

  • actully i messed up a little.......sorry.

  • wow thats awsome!thanks boomerang2455!

  • how did you get that menu??

  • i feel headache

  • I have always tried to get to this stage but failed every time. Sega made it really hard to get too.

  • This is clearly fake. The level is real, but the music is added. There are no other sounds, such as Sonic jumping or getting the Spheres or Emerald or the screen schowing that an Emerald was obtained.

  • @MrJollyJester And I quote dorfd1: "The music is to show how Some Sonic 3 music could have been written by Michael Jackson" It's to show that it could have been written. Which based on several other vids, IIRC he did, in fact have a hand in the music for this game.

So the game music is yes, in fact fake, if you feel he claimed the music was in the game. Otherwise no, none of this is fake. The song is a mashup and the video is a recording of a legit level.

    tl;dr: No it's not fake.

  • 1.Mute video

    2. Open new tab

3.Play the sonic 3 special stage song, but pause it

    4. On this video when the stage appears

    5. Play the song

    6. ????

    7. PROFIT

  • It says below likes and dislikes:

    "Artist: Michael Jackson

Playing at Church, Boston on Oct 29, 2011..."

    ....

    what the fuck

  • @RDmLabel youve been trolled? nice vid :D

  • Holy crap o.o...that level looks rough

  • "Sonic got a Chaos Emerald"

    I don't see it :P

  • Don't blink!

  • Thumbs up if you've been a Sonic fan all the way! [ Giggity XP ]

  • Looks impossible -_-

  • I dont get it whats the message?

  • ive master this but i hate sonic the hedgehog 2 special stage

  • LOL Sonic 3 special special stage! xD

  • i have all the old sonic games as in one game yes fokes thats right sonic's gents ultamnnte collechton

  • OMG is this a rom plz can i have it?

  • the last part of that stage made me dizzy!

  • what people don't know is that Michael actually did produce the music for Sonic 3

  • @ArcDarkWolf lol whatever man. It's just obvious. You don't need proof. They sound like his work. End of story.

  • @ArcDarkWolf Brad also did a lot of instruments for Michael. Brad was credited in Sonic 3. "...Brad Buxer, told French magazine Black & White that Jackson was actually involved with some of Sonic 3's compositions, supposedly not being credited because he wasn't happy with how they sounded, due to the lack of optimal sound reproduction on the Genesis. Buxer also claimed that the ending music of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 later became the basis for Jackson's single Stranger in Moscow."

  • @ArcDarkWolf *brad buxer

  • @ArcDarkWolf I don't even like Michael Jackson, but there's an obvious connection. And it was confirmed in November 2009 by a music composer of the Sonic 3 staff, Bill Buxer.

  • @ArcDarkWolf Are you saying the tune couldn't have been in his head before fully writing the song made later? C'mon now.

  • I'm so tired of this damned Sonic 3 Michael Jackson strawman. He didn't do the music for it!

  • @bamapagedesign He did write some, but he ditched them himself because he was frustrated with the output.

  • @Lioyd1rving He didn't write any.

  • @bamapagedesign Plenty of sources say he did, though it's true that some of them are not 100% guaranteed to be the complete and utter truth of the universe.

  • @Lioyd1rving A lot of members of the Sonic team's music department did, in fact, produce for MJ, but Jackson himself was never involved.

  • Lol all you go is LEFT.

  • holy shit... how did i beat this on my first try?!

  • O.O OMG UR THE MASTER

  • getting closer to the end, i could see myself missing a jump or a turn, smashing my keyboard and cussing up a storm.

  • there a exact level but different desing in s3&k for the gold emerald

  • Have you ever overjumped a blue sphere on a special stage when they're right behind an obstacle (like this one)? It sucks so hard because it's almost impossible to turn around and go back for it >.<

  • I thought you were playing some remix of a sonic tune till i saw the Strangers in Moscow thing.

  • i sink at dis!

  • i was playing sonic 3 and knuckles and tried this out it was hard

  • How is this hard? You just jump and turn left. -_-

  • @cloudstrifex88 it gets faster as you go if you didn t notice and you don t just turn left in all of them! :)

  • WTH?

    Azure Lake?

    Balloon Park?

    Chrome Gadget?

    Desert Palace?

    Endless Mine?

    Are those hacked Zones?

    Please tell me.

  • @Yosher21 No, they're the levels from the multiplayer race mode.

  • @Yosher21 Tournement zones for 2 players you can get those stages at the Sonic3 title screen.

  • that was crazy

  • Michael Jackson did make music for Sonic 3. By the way, thanks for the hidden special stage!

  • Just not the same without the proper music.....

  • For your efforts, you get NOTHING!!! LOL

I can see how this would be pretty hard, in fact I got dizzy from all the red spheres, but I doubt this is the hardest special stage. I'll give it a try tomorrow and let everyone know how it turned out.

  • Ya right this level is the hardest. If you go 2 fast you can run into the red ones really fast.

  • What rom is this

  • @Valientlink sonic 3

  • thats so tight how the music lines up so well

  • MICHAEL...MICHAEL...!

  • This is on sonic 1 and knuckles

  • Which didnt exist.

  • When it comes up no way on the screen, press a b +c at the same time, you unlock 1000,s of these levels.

  • well 100's of 1000's

  • @christonks2 Millions!

  • Hundreds of millions... so freaky

  • @generalmeatwad

    @AndrewandKevin

Your right it doesnt but have you ever tried S+K with sonic 1 You get a No Way? No Way! screen and you get to play random combinations like this and this is one of um

  • yea i actually checked them out yesterday on my sega, if you hit a+b+c it brings up a specal stage. some are easy some are freaking hard as heck

  • MICHAEL JACKSON, EARTH SONG

  • I can't help noticing that Sonic 3 adapted most of its music from Michael Jackson, because this music plays during the end credit roll. ^^

  • @soseztheleadr \

he wrote the music for it

  • @soseztheleadr Those songs were actually composed by Michael Jackson and THEN he converted the melodies into songs for some of his discs. He isn't on the credits, however, because he was unsatisfied with the audio quality of the Mega Drive and thought it could compromise his career. :(

  • @soseztheleadr jackson made the music for sonic 3

  • @soseztheleadr Actually, Michael Jackson wrote many of the songs in Sonic 3, and later used the beats for his songs.

  • @soseztheleadr perhaps you didn't know that Michael Jackson actually wrote some of those songs. In the re-releases, some companies had issues obtaining the rights to those tracks and therefore actually had to outright change them.

  • I'll will missed MJ.

  • Unregistered HyperCam 2

  • the one and only! =)

  • @Pika025 Unregistered Comment

  • @Pika025 WHERE DID YOU GET THE UNREGISTERED HYPERCAM FROM?

  • Hi everyone!I need help.How i can make the debug mode?I can't get it.Please help!

  • This took me a while to finish. I've played it. And finished this stage (Well I think I have). I like it. And the game (Sonic 3.)

  • How beautiful, Stranger in Moscow is my favorite. It's so calm, his voice is heaven...

  • MJ was going to do the music for Sonic3, but the pedo allegations made Sega pull the deal as it wanted to keep it's status as a child friendly company

  • Sonics music wasn't written by micheal.

  • Research it, there is a lot of conspiracy behind him and Sonic 3

  • Yea...well there only saying that now because everyone loves sonic music and they want more people to feel bad for Micheal. Don't take me wrong, I'm not a hater but I'm not a big fan either. But I think It's unlikely that happened. ACTUALLY, if Michael had written it SEGA would have been in trouble for crediting someone else on the music.

  • Yes, it was. At least some of it was.

  • No, it WASN'T!!! SEGA didn't credit him EVER. If he would have wrote it then SEGA would have been sewed!!!! So just because you LIKE the music from sonic. Doesn't mean that Michael wrote it! God...ever since Michael died everyone keeps making so much CRAP up about him.

  • I know.

What probably happened is that Sega made music that was similar to his because his music was so huge at the time. This was before the molestation cases arose.

Whatever really happened, Sega did remove the songs for the PC release of the Sonic collection, so who knows?

  • That's a good point. But why does it matter if he made it anyways? It's great music but...I don't know...I don't really care, If I want to be a fan of Michael I'll listen to his music. If I want to be a fan of sonic I don't want to have to be a fan of Michael at the same time.

  • What that's why you're acting so pissed? You don't want it to be Michael Jackson's music because you like it?

Take a look at the carnival zone. Also take a look at the ending music and compare it to stranger in moscow. Since MJ was in fact brought in to do the music at one point, it seems awfully too coincidental.

  • "If I want to be a fan of sonic I don't want to have to be a fan of Michael at the same time."

That makes absolutely no sense at all.

  • What? I can't have an opinion? I don't agree that Michael made the music to sonic. It's not logically correct. Plus! Why is it that no one thought that BEFORE he died. But AFTER he died," Oh! Michael did this! Not the person credited for it! " You don't think that it's BECAUSE of his death people even think that!?...

  • What you said makes absolutely no sense. First of all, people have thought about this before Michael died, it's been around for ages. His death only gave it more exposure.

Second, no one is forcing you to be a fan of Michael by being a fan of Sonic. And in fact, that sentence actually hurts my brain. You can have an opinion all you want, but please don't say something stupid like "I don't want to have to be a fan of Michael's too".

  • Look, can we stop this conversation? Arguing isn't going to tell us who's right. I just looked it up and I have to admit after listening to the sonic 3 credit music it sounds strangely similar to this song. But...Stranger in Moscow was released AFTER sonic 3. It's a matter of opinion not fact or proof. So this is the end of my part in this conversation. -Ampcorp P.S. That sentence just didn't sound how it was supposed to, I wasn't trying to imply that I have to be a fan of Michael.

  • Just because the song itself was released after the game, doesn't mean that Michael didn't write for the game. But whatever, I'm done too.

  • lol, one more thing, I wonder how the guy who owns the video feels. He must be like," I've started a war..." lol that would be funny! :D

  • This happens everywhere. People saying he didn't write music for Sonic 3, and people saying he did. People saying he didn't write Stranger in Moscow, and people saying he did. People confusing the two, it's just a whole big thing because he passed away.

  • yea...let's just agree with both like ( and feel sorry about ) Micheal and we both like sonic. :)

  • It doesn't matter. You don't have to be a fan of MJ to be a fan of Sonic. After all, every other Sonic game has music that's totally different from MJ songs.

Maybe Sega removed the songs simply because of the rumors. In doing so they may have unwittingly added to the rumors.

Anyway, I know of other video games that sound like some MJ songs. Doesn't mean he wrote for them. Usually a video game will have music that sounds similar to whatever genre is popular at the time.

  • I already said I'm DONE with this conversation....reply to someone else plz

  • that's a cool thought. :D

  • Rant all you want kiddo, you're making a fool of yourself. You can't deny some of his work is in Sonic since some of it is unaltered from his songs. You also cannot deny that some of the songs have influences from songs of that era.

  • lol stranger in moscow

  • This should be a tribute vid to MJ!

  • Best Sonic!

  • After getting all the blue spheres, instead of a chaos emerald it would have been cool if Michael popped up so Sonic & Tails can shake his hand and say goodbye one more time

  • r.i.p Micheal :(

whats last theme called? ;] i no its sonic 3 credits and stranger in moscow but is it remix? :o

  • Hmmm... that's not truly hard, just repetitive and narrow. Now hard would have been making you do Red Sphere jumps that force you to clear gaps of like 10 in a row.

Still, nice to find this extra stage.

  • how can that be hard

  • i would give up after awhile geez!

  • Yes, I had the same idea of Sonic music & Michael Jackson together.

You gotta be good to relate all music you knew in your life & you are. Surprisingly, there are other good thinkers out there in this world :D. Look in YouTube for: Yuzoboy

  • this song is stranger in moscow by michael jackson.

  • hardest special sonic stage ever i wouldn't even fuk wit it

  • play blue sphere, thats way harder

  • I've never been able to do the menu cheat. The only way i was able to open that menu on my Sega Genesis console was by activating the cheat menu on Sonic 2 and then removing the Sonic 2 cartridge very slowly (so it won't reset, only freezes the screen), inserting the Sonic 3 cartridge and finally pressing reset. This way i was able to use the debug cheat on Sonic 3 as i did on Sonic 2.

  • I did that once and doing it erased my completed game with all chaos emeralds on Sonic 3!

  • LOL i never tried with a saved game ^_^

  • ...No, not the Micheal Jackson part of it, the Sonic part of it.

But seriously, where is it played in the game? It might be the credits of Sonic 3, but I don't know, because I always play Sonic 3 and Knuckles.

  • You're right; it's the Sonic 3 end credits without Sonic & Knuckles

  • Yes, this song is the credits of Sonic 3.

  • Um, seriously, I've heard this song on the sound test in S3&K. What is it? ._.

  • hur

  • this song is pretty catchy

  • Diiiiizy!

  • at first I was like "how is this hared?" then the last twenty seconds of the actuall video I was like "WHOA! how is he still doing this"

  • I thought that too

  • that was not a stupid question. Those levels are in sonic 3C.

  • mm that's not hard ._.

  • Really hard?

Bah! you just do the same thing over and over...

Play blue spheres last levels, THOSE are hard!

    Even though pointless.

  • I used to play this all the time when i was younger and I cannot for the life of me remember how to get to it. I remember having to do some code at the beginning. Ive tried the up-up down-down up-up-up at the beginning logo screen, but it doesn't work! Can anyone help?

  • you could get an emulator

  • Another code exists which involves taking data from Sonic 2's level select and converting it to Sonic 3.

Otherwise in Game Genie: "AA6T-AAXC" does the trick!

Turn the Game Genie off if you want to access the save screen!

  • made my head spin at the end

  • IS THIS REAL?

  • yep. real. That would be IMPOSSIBLE to fake anyway, let alone actually win.

  • how do U get here then?

  • DAng that felt endless...

  • Yes, but some music from S3 is from a production company, which has produced some tunes for micheal jackson, so michael jackson used the same... that's my opinion

  • yes, i realize that now. its freaky how similar they are.

  • DAMN THATS FUCKED UP THEN, its funny too because Sonic's music sounds very similar to Michael Jackson's music sometimes, for example the mystic cave zone stage music on Sonic 2, 2 player mode sounds like the jackson 5 song "shake your body down to the ground"

  • God, how the HELL do you get to the level select on the original Sonic the Hedgehog 3? (No other sonic games with it) It's supposed to be that you press upx2, downx2, and upx3 after the sega introducion, but it won't work! Someone, PLEASE tell me/message me what's wrong. Oh, and that special stage looks nice.

  • lol that cheat is damn hard to do.. but i can do it :)

  • lol werd. It's pretty much the hardest code in history of video games to execute.

  • hahaha that's right!

  • this is not hidden. there were over 300 million special stages. if you conect sonic one and s&k you can play all of them

  • No, this one was hidden in the Sonic 3 cartridge.

  • are you sure cause ive played the blue sphere game and seen this one. killer hard.

P.S. its amazing how they got the sonic 3 ending to match michael jackson. weird.

  • but they dropped that deal.

  • what music is this? its awesome! and its perfect with the vid!

  • Stranger than Moscow- Michael Jackson

  • mixed with the ending theme of sonic 3

  • ya i can hear some in the background

  • it's simple to just input debug mode and make it go slomo

  • Yes!

    Jam-Who is it-in that game

This music sounds like Stranger in Moscow!

    Love it.

  • Actually, a group of his composers.

  • this music's pretty tight.

  • i remember this!!!!!! you'd get this putting an older game into sonic and knuckles too

  • nah, this is different, the other is randomly generated and not just a tight loop to the center.

  • Did I just drop acid?

    This blends well haha

  • there is a sound in this song that sounds like soemthing from launch base zone

  • In all of my years of playing sonic. I never seen or even heard about this place, until now. Is that michael jackson song really in the game? Thanks for posting this awesome video on youtube.

  • the song is the credits for sonic 3 without knuckles but the lyrics are not in.

  • i think at this point jun senoue was composing for sonic games

  • Isn't the music the ending?

  • What song is that I like it

  • Stranger in Moscow

  • it's a michael jackson song with Sonic 3's credits music too because michael jackson originally helped with the sonic 3 soundtrack.

  • It was made by MJ XD

  • THEY'RE MAKING ANOTHER LEFT TURN!

  • lol lol lol lol lol lol lol That's one of the most brilliant comments I've seen! lol

    Jeff Dunham is great.

  • It's not the god damn reason, it's the fact that you have to do them for that reason. Dumbass, learn how to read.

  • I thought the ending in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 sounded familiar...
