  • When it came to doing the corners of the layout, how did you do that? Did you use a diagonal piece of wood or did you cut a a curved piece of wood? Great layout !!!!!

  • @Gustavflyer They are straight pieces cut at 45 degree angles. O27 curves will barely fit when done that way. Any bigger turning radius on the curves and you would need curved shelves or larger solid corners. I used paper templates to figure out how long the corner piece needed to be. The crown molding underneath is cut at 45 degree angles as well. Thanks!

  • Beautiful train and layout. I haven't been on youtube for a few months. I was a victim of a burglary and most of my trains, guns, cameras, jewelry, etc were stolen. It would take the rest of my life to rebuild again. I'm looking into a new hobby like traveling...They can't steal that from me.

    Thanks for sharing.

  • sweet looking layout there, dude!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheRailroadFan Thanks!

  • Nice !! ("what was that at the beginning" ?)

  • @TommyZTrains Thanks! That was my wireless switchplate that lets me turn on/off the train, neon signs, and rope lighting. I probably should have just left that out of the video altogether. There's a much better view of it in an earlier video here... youtube.com/watch?v=XwKqF-ubGZ0
