  • I bet those protesting Evo , somewhere down there in Santa Cruz they are backed by the US.

  • Evo has won the presidental election in 2005, after that the old politics have tried to stop his initiatives, EVO has won democratically in all cases. He is upraising his popularity levels and projecting his figure to all latin america. A small group located in Santa Cruz, tries to tke him down becasue they fortunes feel in danger because they were obtained from corrupt former authorities in the past 20 years.

  • Bolivia has two vision and two cultures:the Andines and tropical , Morales only want to aplly his constitution for native Andines ignoring oriental people

  • it takes YEARS to raise up a country that is so poor, that the economy is f#$@d up, or they don't even have basic services in the poorest lands. So whether or not he is doing something for the ones in disadvantaged, I think it's impossible to see the results in less than five years...

  • what is happening is not that is staying isolated is just that the way he has driven this country for only 2 yeas so far are not likely for goverments like the USA or some others that have a Capitalist policy. The country is being called to vote for the change in the constitution and for those who are saying if he's or not helping he poor people it took years for countries in the first world to develop good social systems like France, or good health care like Canada or industrialized like Japan

  • Evo is encouraging racism among bolivians by giving privileges to only a group of people that is a minority. He is not creating more jobs, more hospital, more schools and the poor people is every day poorer. It seems he does not care for those things. It seems he only wants to stay in power forever, like Fidel Castro.

  • it's very sad, but is true, as a bolivian I can confirm it.

  • and he is not who is encouraging the racism, is actually the people who is misinformed, who believes what the media shows. If someone talks about racism in Bolivia "maybe" is referring to the people of middle and high social class, unfortunately poor and Indigenist which represents the 65% of the population hadn't received anything in pro of them or any improvement in their Communities from their Government in the last 15 or 20 years

  • he wants to change the constitution but it is not in 100%of favor of the small social class, that is why they'll call him racist or acusing him to divide the country

  • The nations of South America were founded upon the values of European Racism and they continue until now. Look at where you inhereted your values from

  • can someone explain what exactly is going on with EVO is he helping bolivia at all???????????? or no??

  • @bayamon3 To my understanding yes.

    Especially aboriginal communities.

The problem is that privileged people, dont realize that were privileged for so long, and they take for granted that they have more rights, and they dont like to share the resources.

Therefore there is a huge campaing against Evo Morales.

The time will show the true, just look to every point of view, and if you can try to travel and talk to people, real people.

  • who is been isolated? bolivia?....or the USA?.....

  • I would not trust Bush or his administration on or with anything.
