I wonder about some parts of this beautiful poem and some similarities with Gougane Barra, just a thought, though there are many years between the writing of both poems, by different poets although both Irish, Gougane Barra was acknowledged a masterpiece by all accounts. It leaves me to wonder, with room for thought!
very lovely recitation; a small tip though, innisfree is pronounced inishfree. With the exception of certain circumstances, the letter 's' in irish makes a 'sh' sound like the names Sean, Seamus, Sinnead, etc. But again, a very lovely recitation
Seems you made a pilgrimage. Can you hear the birds in the background? Gorgeous. Thank you.

We have named our house in Canada "Innisfree" maybe an island will rise out of the lake one day because that is all it is missing!

In 1988, I rowed a boat out to that island. Yeats was somehow all around. We rented that boat for 5 Irish pounds from a local Innkeeper.

Wow...! Thank you for posting this.
Here in Tokyo, I hear lake water lapping everyday, in the deep heart's core. Want to visit the shore someday.
