This is why I'm not supportative of string theory, which says particle points are geometric shapes formed by strings shaped by the configurations of extra-dimensions. Why resort to that? With EM theory, and Cymatics, you have a perfectly reasonable demonstration of how energy shapes objects (particles and their supporting wave fields) into geometric shapes that may provide insight into the properties of individual particles.

I have been letting the world know what you have discovered and the beautiful music you composed. Thank you so much for the work you have done and have shared i truly appreciate Cymatics and your exquisite music for my soul ! Humbled in Florida
Cymatics shows the link between geometry/ mathematics and music. As humans we perceive beauty according to this simple mathematics. I dont know how much I'd attribute a spiritual element to this, as I'm not a religious person. Nevertheless, our ancestors had some profound knowledge about universe and how we as conscious beings relate to it through music and art. I'm fortunate to live only 5 miles from Roslyn Chapel. I'membarrassed that i'd not realised its importance until recently.
not only the relation between geometry/mathematics/music but also the relation between geometry/mathematics/music/vibrational energy and humans are energy.
Thanks for this video, the atmosphere of the music certainly fits the atmosphere of Rosslyn Chapel; I visited in October 08. The tour guide said that the Templar's treasure wasn't revealed by the music, but you might sell lots of CDs!
stu this isnt a design this was obviuosly made by god i have reshered lots about this and all of the stuff changing can only be done in a church in scottland thats wear the photo was taken on the thing were its like b a c and stuff
i remember hearing this piece on a 'da vinci code' type documentary, such an awe inspiring yet simplistic piece of music. when i saw the cymatic patterns on the plate match with the different sine wave frequencies on the program i was like, "oh my god that's genius"
i absolutely love the part where the dust forms a geometric pattern when a tone is played....amazing. that might just be how the universe was created...
You know, thats what I first thought when I experienced Cymatics.
Especially when you watch the particles collect geometrically 'live', on video it looks cool, but in a real live situation..you feel it happening each time, its truly the work of great intelligent design.
There's a featured video right now showing that same chladni plate, but it looks like it was posted earlier than this one. I suppose that's one of the people you worked with on this? The image of the plate is identical, making it unlikely that it's a different recording... right down to the wires leading to it.
A long time ago, a close relationship existed between music and architecture. They are meant to be together, for both arts are the same in spirit...but this was forgotten. Since modernism, acustics have not been seriously considered...Each space chould have a sound or music of it's own.
Once again, we learn a great lesson from the past.
I love what you have done with this. Thank you so much! Goethe, once said, "Sacred architecture is frozen music." Makes me look forward to what that last trump of Revelation is going to do with creation when it sounds.
I find it very interesting. There's a guy who uses cymatics to make DNA healing pendants which he sells on Ebay, his process seems very genuine. It shows it can be put to very powerful use and hopefully will lead to major health cures in the near future, I truly hope so.
math music all relate to the universe.stop trying to make things complcated, simple actually is were the answer is.ask the right question,,there is a simple answer.
This is cool to see. What exactly does this mean though? Whoever carved the stones knew that sounds would create vibrations, and make patterns in dust? I like the vid. but don't understand what is so mystical about it. Please explain so a layman may understand.
This is amazing! How they would have discovered cymatics withtheir music is beyond me, but the way they have preserved it is truly wonderful! I am now planning to visit the chapel itself just to see it for myself
Thank you for your post, you will love Rosslyn Chapel when you go to visit, its full of incredible messages and beautiful carvings. Not all have a hidden meaning, in fact, the truth of the carvings are staring you in the face. Most folk look too much into them.
this kind of things, are what makes the world and life interesting!!! because it takes you to a place, where you want to know more about it, and you start researching and learning things, that open your mind to a new kind of world!!!
Thats is incredible! i love things which can link the worlds of science, music and art like this. but, was the music written for the shapes or did the shapes follow the song? or were they built as one?!
Lucky to have found it before the chapel gives way to erosion completely!
Its basically the most natural form of music notation but the understanding of Cymatics and resonance leads you through a door into a whole new world of understanding and appreciation of music and nature. thanks for your post and kind comments. Stuart
Very Good! So, what are the elements complete with weights and spin, which respond to which combination of vibrations necessary to create the 13 patterns? List them and post them. Does it proceed in 4th's or descend in 5th's? Is the 13th the first or the 1st the 13'th? Time flows backwards on the microvoltage of crass expansion. Thus intelligence. - You are one. We all must proceed. The future calls.
WOW - gave me gooseflesh. 2 days ago I was at a meditation with a sound healer who encouraged me to look into cymatics. Never heard of it before, but as a singer, have always been interested in healing with the voice. any guess as to how many people there were at the presentation? 12 participants + 1 leader. (13 geometric patterns) Freaky. Thank you so much for this beautiful motet and video. I have confirmation that I'm heading in the right direction. Blessings.
when stumbling across resonance, looking for ways to make hydrogen..I noticed these shapes were very similar to ancients. Now I know exactly what this is. Stuart, I thank you VERY much for this video.
This a fine video and the theoretical side very engrossing, but why would Sir William Sinclair want to hide it above the heads of the priests and choirboys he was paying to sing the Divine Office right below, throughout the day and night?
Yes, why would anyone go to such extreme measures and detail to get a singular musical message over to generations later??
We have discovered the truth of Rosslyn Chapel and its not just about the music, it is something far more reaching and mind blowing than anyone could imagine.
I am happy to share the new discoveries with you, please send me a personal email and I will explain..
This is a beautifully-produced video and so is the music! But why would Sir William Sinclair want to hide a short melody above the heads of the priests and choristers he paid to sing the Divine Office through the day?
This is a beautifully-designed video and the music direction and singing is first-class. The theoretical explanation of the carvings is also very well done. However, why would the Sir William Sinclair want to go to such trouble to conceal a short melody above everyone's head when the priests and boy choristers employed to sing several times a day in the Chapel already had plenty of sheet music to sing the Divine Office?
My chorus teacher showed me this video and I understood it perfectly...she wants us to try it someday...if it is ever translated enough for high school choirs to sing!
I recently read a book called "Hidden Messages in Water". It was discussed that people's thoughts/feelings/intentions influenced the way these ice crystals formed from the tested water. I think it is possible that the designs of the ice crystals were formed from sounds as well. Fascinating concept 4 me and the water actually produced the same pattern crystals in several tests. I find that extraordinary considering different sounds from multiple languages.
Hi and thanks for the info. It is a very interesting subject the water crystals and snow crystals. Its would seem that geometry is inherent within the fabric of nature itself and it has been known for at maybe 10's of 1000's of years. How long have we been experiencing snowflakes for as a race over time? I cannot believe how under-valued and lightly these geometric perspectives of nature are taken. Thanks again for your post. Stuart

I think it is possible that the designs of the ice crystals were formed from sounds as well. It was a pretty interesting concept and the frozen water actually made the same pattern in several instances considering the different sounds from several languages.
I for one believe this was meant to be - even if some of the cubes were changed out, the overall music would only change slightly. The message would still be there. This video is hard to ignore.
Hi man, my views are changing rapidly due to the discoveries I have made in music over the past 10 years. Music and the laws of resonance are the building blocks and foundation of my new understanding. i suppose you could say its an aesthetic and scientific appreciation of nature and its dynamics.
You can buy 'Chladni Plates' on the internet for about $80 from a company called PASCO. Give it a google and you will find it.
could it be some sort of a code or a portal perhaps?? It is located on an achway isn't it? I watched a program on it once and they were comparing that to some kind of UFO alien gateway... idk... what do you think Stuart? Are they just patterns associated with music because of the music fascination or is there more than meets the eye??
The fact that there are carved musicians playing instruments at the end of each arch gives one a very strong impression that a music performance is intended here. There is a great deal more to it indeed and we are still discovering new aspects to Rosslyn's music all the time. Thanks for your post.Stuart
hey stuart! ABSOLUTELY AWESOME STUFF! How did you discover this?? is the "plate" that makes the shapes on some kind of speaker? Have you found a number of shapes possible. I am STUNNED by this! GREAT WORK!!
You can create the patterns by simply bowing the side of the plate and holding it at various harmonic points of the plate to create different patterns. the one on the video is using crystal oscillators to create very a

i remember hearing this piece on a 'da vinci code' type documentary, such an awe inspiring yet simplistic piece of music. when i saw the cymatic patterns on the plate match with the different sine wave frequencies on the program i was like, "oh my god that's genius"
great video

i absolutely love the part where the dust forms a geometric pattern when a tone is played....amazing. that might just be how the universe was created...
newbornsoldier 3 years ago 2
You know, thats what I first thought when I experienced Cymatics.
Especially when you watch the particles collect geometrically 'live', on video it looks cool, but in a real live situation..you feel it happening each time, its truly the work of great intelligent design.
Thanks for your cool post,
Stu

Stu,
No doubt in my mind about intelligent design - I think your work helps proves that theory.
Another truly wonderful discovery in Scotland!
Thank you!

There's a featured video right now showing that same chladni plate, but it looks like it was posted earlier than this one. I suppose that's one of the people you worked with on this? The image of the plate is identical, making it unlikely that it's a different recording... right down to the wires leading to it.

that was very cool. I loved the music too!

A long time ago, a close relationship existed between music and architecture. They are meant to be together, for both arts are the same in spirit...but this was forgotten. Since modernism, acustics have not been seriously considered...Each space chould have a sound or music of it's own.
Once again, we learn a great lesson from the past.
Congratulations Stuart, this is wonderful.

I find it very interesting. There's a guy who uses cymatics to make DNA healing pendants which he sells on Ebay, his process seems very genuine. It shows it can be put to very powerful use and hopefully will lead to major health cures in the near future, I truly hope so.

Blessings.

This a fine video and the theoretical side very engrossing, but why would Sir William Sinclair want to hide it above the heads of the priests and choirboys he was paying to sing the Divine Office right below, throughout the day and night?
ratisbon 4 years ago
Yes, why would anyone go to such extreme measures and detail to get a singular musical message over to generations later??
We have discovered the truth of Rosslyn Chapel and its not just about the music, it is something far more reaching and mind blowing than anyone could imagine.
I am happy to share the new discoveries with you, please send me a personal email and I will explain..
stuart7m 4 years ago
This is a beautifully-produced video and so is the music! But why would Sir William Sinclair want to hide a short melody above the heads of the priests and choristers he paid to sing the Divine Office through the day?
ratisbon 4 years ago
This is a beautifully-designed video and the music direction and singing is first-class. The theoretical explanation of the carvings is also very well done. However, why would the Sir William Sinclair want to go to such trouble to conceal a short melody above everyone's head when the priests and boy choristers employed to sing several times a day in the Chapel already had plenty of sheet music to sing the Divine Office?
ratisbon 4 years ago
My chorus teacher showed me this video and I understood it perfectly...she wants us to try it someday...if it is ever translated enough for high school choirs to sing!

Pretty incredible. 5 stars.

Stuart

Are they just patterns associated with music because of the music fascination or is there more than meets the eye??
vladislav0202 4 years ago
The fact that there are carved musicians playing instruments at the end of each arch gives one a very strong impression that a music performance is intended here. There is a great deal more to it indeed and we are still discovering new aspects to Rosslyn's music all the time. Thanks for your post.Stuart

You can create the patterns by simply bowing the side of the plate and holding it at various harmonic points of the plate to create different patterns. the one on the video is using crystal oscillators to create very a
