It's kinda funny. Here in Denmark it's the opposite. The religious are usually those who are socially inept, at least in from my perception (I was raised in a fundamentalist family). I think it's a matter of surrounding environment and majority vs. minority.
Sexism from atheists feels more wrong to me than sexism in other circumstances. Probably because I have higher expectations.

Atheists aren't usually socially inept, just the geeky ones or the goth ones. (Mostly the latter, who aren't mentioned here.)
Also, the unnecessary sexism pisses me off.
