  • I miss this and I wasn't even alive back then.

  • this isnt dirty, this IS the canadian way, the fucken bullies are all canadiens. All clean hits, good old time hockey. Against a bunch of bastard reds, classic game.

  • This is when hockey was hockey. Fuck the Red Army. What a bunch of pussies.

  • @Jgchunkylover This game was rigged incase you didn't know that.

  • @Jgchunkylover - If you want to see pussies, take a look at Phil & Boston 74 Stanly cup...."Philadelphia Flyers Win The 1974 Stanley Cup".

Yes you will see nothing, absolutely nothing in this Vid. in comparison to what the Bully Morons did to Russians in this game!!

PUSSIES YOU SAY, ....FOR 2 TEAMS THAT WERE SUPPOSED TO PLAY HARD NOSED HOCKEY, THAT 15 MIN. WAS A SOCIAL TEA PARTY IN COMPARISON TO THIS VICIOUS ATTACK ON EXTREMELY TALLENTED PLAYERS.

BOTH OFFICIALS & PLAYER SHOULD GO 2 PRISON!

  • This is just hard-nosed hockey, I don't see anything dirty here. The puck was there and players are taught to finish their checks.

  • @BillyBetYT I agree

  • I honestly watched this video thinking it was going to be a lot worse... the NHL up till the lockout was like this and the ONLY cheap thing in this is the 2nd push by barber, which is the least violent thing on this video you can argue Barbers hit along the boards was cheap but according to the rules back then he was close enough to the puck for the hit and since Barber was not skating and the other player was this hit is even harder to call a cheap shot.

  • I see no dirty plays here, just a hard hitting physical team versus a skilled team that is not used to the rough and tumble NHL rules. I saw nothing dirty in any of those checks.

  • There has always been a difference between North American style hockey, an European style hockey. North Americans have always played a more physical style of hockey, and this game is a classic example of it. Call it goon hockey if you want, ice hockey is a physical game. If you want a non contact sport played on ice, take up curling.

  • Haha! This classic footage is right out of "Slap Shot".

  • To the tune of the name of this video...F the Red Army. They couldn't stand up to America...in more ways than one. Screw them.

  • Canada vs. Russia , live from Philadelphia

  • Stupid auto correct. Nother not bother and spark not speak. Apologies

  • @notdonebefore that takes trolling to a whole bother level... I really think you should consider what you say trying to speak an argument before you do...NOT okay kid

  • Fuck those Commies.

  • @DatPicksburghGuy I hate the twin towers and so was happy when those planes crashed into them.

  • @notdonebefore That was disgusting. If you are a Canadian, please move or change your attitude. That IS NOT the Canadian way, nor is it cool or okay.

  • They Flying Bullies wouldnt have shit on the Honey Badger.

  • @whannes They didn't have shit on the Flying Frenchmen either. And remember, they bullies got bullied back by those same Montreal Canadiens, but only one man did the beat down and the rest of the Habs skated and scored. See, the Flyers never played hockey. Btw, I saw your profile, and you're Swedish..is Mats Naslund still alive and well? He was my favorite growing up.

  • Wow. That is old time hockey right there.

  • This Flyers team was consisted with mostly Canadians so basically it's Canada vs Russia but idk it doesnt matter.

  • barber lets that flow rage

  • "Ahem. Fuck Russians. That's is all"-great argument. The man,who wrote this should be graduated Georgetown,Cambridge and Oxford simultaneously in one year. What a high intellectual level, what a real author's style...

  • @MrVasilenkoK You forgot Harvard.

  • @Jiltedin2007

    Who is Harvard?

  • @MrVasilenkoK Harvard is a very prestigious University located in Boston.

  • @Jiltedin2007 Thanks a lot,I forgot.I studied in Morgantown(WVU)

  • Ahem. Fuck Russians. That's is all.

  • If you look at the Broad Street Bullies many of them were like an average 180 lbs and their heights were like an average 6'1 - 6'2. Many players back than weren't as big compared to today although players back than weren't afraid to get into a scrap.

  • @GoalHornDJ And you see Zdeno Chara at 6' 9" and 255 Pounds. Probably if he was playing then, chances are he would scrap with any one of these Broad Street Bullies, especially Dave Schultz, and probably whale on him.

They don't make them any bigger than Chara!

  • You know for hockey in the 70's this was relatively clean.

  • There is no better way to fight Communism!

  • @Jiltedin2007 Fight Communism!Really?Take a look to all games of this 1976 series and you can see WHO IN FACT DID WHOM.As far as I remember communists(hockey amateurs)without any problems kicked so-called North American professionals.Exception was only this last game, where REF WAS INSTRUCTED BEFORE THE GAME by NHL bosses.Everybody can see according this video, how NHLers won this game.Just imagine ,if ref wouldn't be instructed before the game and communists would won this hockey match too.

  • @MrVasilenkoK

Oh really?! Like the Filthy Ref you had in the Final Game of the 1972 Summit Series sending Canadians into the Penalty Box one by one? Yeah, who greasing who? You still want to talk? And you know what? No matter how dirty your Russian Babies wanted to play, YOU STILL GOT OWNED BY CANADA!

  • @Jiltedin2007 Ref from West Germany was Russian?Ah,he was communist too?

"YOU STILL GOT OWNED BY CANADA!" I saw last tournament,it was 2-1(not Canada).

Oh,may be we sucked in 1979,when second, experimental team in 3rd game(no Kharlamov,Tretiak,Maltsev,Yakushev) of Russian babies played 6-0 with Mr.Clarke's team of best world rpofessionals,or may be it was in 1981,when Canada played 1-8 on own ice and all world saw how Gretzky CRIED in Montreal Forum?Remember 11-1,8-1,5-0 etc........

  • @MrVasilenkoK And how about 1987? Gretzky to Lemieux, HE SCORES!

    Who was crying then?

  • @Jiltedin2007 Nobody,I didn't saw crying Soviets in 1987,but crying Gretzky saw whole world.They played in 1987 6-5(difference was only 1 puck),not 1-8 like in 1981,or 1-11 in 1977,0-6 in 1979 and so on....

  • @MrVasilenkoK oh, O.K. then. Let me ask you this question. Where were your Russians last year while the Canadians took the Gold in Vancouver? Were you at least there at the Olympics? Who was it that kicked their ass(That is if they were there)? U.S.A., or Canada? I bet you even last year Canada would have kicked their Asses! Face it, CANADA RULES HOCKEY!

  • @Jiltedin2007 Last Olympics was really Canadian(I suppose that most Olympic games were Canadian since USSR collapsed).According to this video we are talking about Soviet-NHL opposition.Modern Russian hockey, for me,it's not a Soviet style,it's worse copy of Canada hockey.Take a look at the Canada-USSR statistics(teams and clubs)and there will be an answer.Canada lost all series except 1972 and 1987(1974,1976,1977,1980,1983,1985...)

  • @MrVasilenkoK Oh I'm sorry, I thought that we were talking about The Past Accomplishments of Canada and the USSR(Now Russia). The next time Canada and Russia wants to start a Summit Series, I'll be the first one to want to watch on TV!

And are you telling me that the Referee on the Final Game of the Summit Series was West German? Well he must have been paid plenty of Rubles to be maintaining 1 Canadian in the Penalty Box throughout Game 8 to be from the other side of "The Iron Curtain".

  • @Jiltedin2007 Kampala(as I correctly remember his name)in fact was from W.Germany-from your side of Berlin Wall.

"plenty of Rubles" what for,in the West he could only light cigarettes by our cash

  • @MrVasilenkoK Why else would a couple of West German Officials would officiate in the Soviet Favor? If it is not "For the Marks", what could it be? Oh by the way, explain this to me. There was supposed to be a Swedish Official named Uve Dahlberg officiating the 8th and Final Game of the Summit Series, but he mysteriously suffered from Food Poisoning. Anything to cheat. Right? Keep defending your Russians. And why didn't a Soviet Goal Judge not light the Red Light after a Canada goal?

  • @Jiltedin2007 "And why didn't a Soviet Goal Judge not light the Red Light after a Canada goal?"-to show the world, who was Eagleson in fact

Kampala is European,he never had any deal, before 1972,with animals like Clarke,CASHman,Parise,Espo who wanted to kill Soviets(i saw his interview by own eyes).Euro ref couldn't even imagine behavior like this and considering hockey like a game, but not sexual harassment.

About Dahlberg I have the same information

  • @MrVasilenkoK Oh, is that what happened?

  • @Jiltedin2007 I suppose, yes.It's only my opinion,may be KGB "worked"on Dahlberg(joke)

  • @MrVasilenkoK The "KGB", which is similar to "The CIA" in the United States. See what I mean? Anything to cheat! And had Uwe Dahlberg not been Food Poisoned, he would have officated Game 8 of the 1972 Summit Series. So, because of his internal injury, the Soviets and Canadians each hand picked one official to referee the game. It's just too bad that the Soviet's Choice was being dirty by sending Canadians one by one into the Penalty Box.

  • @Jiltedin2007 I counted 15 penalties on game 8(8 were Canadian,7 went to the Soviets). If ref would send Canadians one by one,I suppose it would be like 15 to 1 or something like this. And I think that decision was made by both of the refs,Canada chose Bata, while Russia chose Kompalla.

I heard that returning home after series Kompala took the same plane with Canadians and them punched him a lot, but it doesn't prove that he was a Moscow spy

  • @MrVasilenkoK If Kompala is from West German, why would hop on a plane home with a Plane full of Canadians? Unless the Canadian Team wanted to take a Vacation in West Germany. I saw the complete stats of Game 8 of the 1972 Summit Series, And I noticed that the Russians scored 3 of their 5 goals on the Power Play, especially their first one on a 5 on 3 situation. If I was Alan Eagleson, I would have thought twice before playing the first 4 games of the Summit Series in Canada.

  • @Jiltedin2007 When I had a trip to US(among the things from a communist Soviet Union(I lived in WV),first stop was in Germany(Frankfurt on Maine),second Canada(Gander,as I remember)and finally NY.

Canada had only one more penalty in game 8,and it's not our or ref's fault, take a look how Canadians played.I don't speak about bastard trick of Clarke in game 6(for this in normal country he should be jailed),Parise generally wanted to cut this German.Have you REALLY saw similar from our sportsmen?

  • @Jiltedin2007 About A.Eagleson:What every human should think about man,who dropped himself to the ice, showing centrefinger, promising to fuck all around him, trying to fight with the cops...In Canada he would be in a prison within 2 minutes.

What I should think about this funny man after he steal money from NHL players? What I should think about man,who steal Canada Cup and didn't give it to Soviets in 1981 after Canada lost 1-8?And this great man was running NHL?

  • @MrVasilenkoK Yes, Eagleson went bad. I don't know how, or why, but once upon a time he was a Canadian Hero as far as Hockey was concerned.

Hockey has to be the Canadian National Pastime.

  • @shaoduoduo 35 years later and this video gets even funnier!

  • is this hockey or politics?

  • @MrSnoogsypoo

Well back in the days of Communism and the Soviet Union, both.

  • You pay good money to go see a fight, and all of a sudden a hockey game breaks out...

  • @zooblestyx You always will when we're facing those Commie Bastards!

    FUCK COMMUNISM ALTOGETHER!

  • @Jiltedin2007 Do you really consider Kharlamov,Tretiak,Maltsev like a "Commie Bastards"?

And Clarke I suppose is a real Christian?

  • There is only one way to deal with the enemies of Freedom. The enemies of the US are the enemies of Freedom. This is how you do it.

  • @bearmare -Enemies of freedom you say? You even say it like you know something the rest of us don't.

If you can tear yourself away from Hollywood & the boob tube for a while you may learn something.

The US @ any one time could have as many as 100 countries on a boycott. Cuba has suffered from one for over 50 years. Look @ the size of each Nation & then shove your aspirations of "Freedom" so far up your ass, you choke on it!

& How much freedom did they allow Nicaragua, Panama, Grenada, etc.?

  • if by "dirty" you mean AWESOME, then yeah...you could have sneezed on those red army players and they would have gone down. weak.

  • yeah hate to break it but there's nothing wrong here...

  • Where were the dirty plays? There was maybe one on a high stick from Clarke, but that was it.

  • Beautiful hard nosed hockey, the way it should be played. You whiners are all pussies and should be ashamed of it, end of story.

  • YOU IDIOTS TALKING ABOUT HEADSHOTS ARE FORGETTING ONE THING..... HEADSHOTS BACK THAN WERE FUCKING LEGAL!!!!! YOU PLAYED WITH OR WITHOUT A HELMET AND TOOK YOUR CHANCES!!!!! YOU PEOPLE CALL THAT DIRTY FORGET THAT WAS HOCKEY BACK THAN AND TO SAY THAT THE FLYERS BACK THAN WERE THE ONLY ONES WITH DIRTY PLAYERS ARE SADDLY MISTAKEN!!!!! SADDLY MISTAKEN

  • still looking for the dirty plays?

  • Haha take that you commie bastards

  • hahahaha....fucking commies!

  • Dirty play by the Russians trying to avoid all those body checks.

  • Where can i find broad street bullies documentary ?

  • This brings a tear to my eye....

  • wow the top rated comments are about fucking politics and not hockey... how about you get a life and stop reading political text books and debate on youtube ESPEACIALLY ON A HOCKEY VIDEO stop being socially awkward get some friends if not go rant somewhere else or say something about hockey or shut the fuck up and enjoy the video... now ill try to get a hockey debate started instead of this politics bullshit... THE CANUCKS ARE GONNA WIN THE CUP

  • For me it's interesting too.How this dancers(dirty commies,Stalin"s assholes,drunk Russian bears,Soviet subhumans)won NY Rangers,Boston Bruins,,Pittsburg Penguins,Chicago BH and NY Islanders in this,1976 series?NHL won ONLY 2 GAMES FROM 8,LOSING 5,and after this Mr.@RunNingTheoRy talking about"dancers"??????

    hanksnow2-МОЛОДЕЦ

  • Two head shots in 16 seconds! Wonder how many he took before & after, while criminal officials look on & secretly cheering.

What a sad commentary for state of hockey, no mater where it happened, or to who it happened.

I'm sorry to say, it has not improved much, if at all.

The NHL is selling violence, because it makes them money. It's obvious they don't care for the players, cause they know people like you & me are bringing up a new batch every year & paying one hell of a price to do it.

  • @hanksnow2 THESE ARE THE FUCKING BROAD STREET BULLIES, THEY KNEW HOW TO STOP THE RUSSIANS FROM DOING WHAT THEY WANTED WHEN THEY WANTED. SELLING VIOLENCE??? NOW DAYS?NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY INNNNNNNNNN HELLLLLLLLLLLLLLL IS BETTMAN TRYING TO SELL VIOLENCE.

  • GO FLYERS! I'm so happy that they beat the shit out of this team! Red Army was a team of ice dancers, not hockey players!

  • @RunNingTheoRy troll?

  • @RunNingTheoRy - If you check out the records, the "Dancers" won more games than the "Shit Kickers" & won them more decisive with games like 8-1, 8-0, 6-0, 5-1. And thats with bullshit officiating similar to this.

Don't you like the play @ about :03, where "K" puts the puck between the Moron's legs!

If you liked this hockey(?), you must love the "Westerns" & how the West was won.

You would probably have enjoyed slavery also, where the slaves had about as much protection as the Russian players

  • @RunNingTheoRy - If you check out the records, the "Dancers" won more games than the "Shit Kickers" & won them more decisive with games like 8-1, 8-0, 6-0, 5-1. And thats with bullshit officiating similar to this.

  • @RunNingTheoRy your just nuts

  • @Thornton19HFboards

"A few of the Dirty plays immediately leading up to the Red Army walking off the ice in 1976 super series"

Dirty? Not even close. This is proper hockey, plain and simple.

The European/Russian style game is a game for girls.

  • Kharlamov getting hit left and right.

  • Comment removed

  • Comment removed

  • The only legally questionable hit was the last one. But I don't really see any dirty play in this video, just hard play.

  • @CaptainPriceLives -Anyone who can't see a penalty @ :40, must think they are watching boxing. You can't punch someone in the face & not be penalized, especially unprovoked. I say you can't, because it's in the rules, yes, rules that one team does not have to follow. If they did have to follow the rules, they would have played 2 men short most of the game, & would have been beaten badly.

"K" was something to watch,. . just love the first few sec. puck between the legs of #1 bone head Clarke!!

  • @hanksnow2 That was a forearm check to the upper torso aka shoulder. Idk where you are seeing a fist to the head? Simply did not happen.

  • @CaptainPriceLives - The forearm was @ :33 followed by an elbow @ about :36, the obvious punch 2 the face is @ :40.

The problem with people like U is, U are listening to the announcer. He says, " Oh & "K" is still dizzy after that check". That was not a 'Check", just look @ it a couple of times,(as if you haven't a hundred), but it's a punch in the face, which is against the rules in any sport, except fighting.

COLD WAR MENTALITY BY FANS, OFFICIALS & MAFIA CONTROLLED NHL.. Red scare mentality

  • @hanksnow2 I'm sorry, but you simply have to be blind to say that he was hit in the face at 0:40. It was clearly a hit to his shoulder. No doubt about it.

  • @CaptainPriceLives - I can see his head go back & it must be from the moron type hit from said moron. His head would have more than likely had a forward motion if hit on the shoulder at that force

Do you think the Russians would EVER have stooped to anything similar in order to win. Your answer would have to be no. If yes, (& I'm not from Missouri), SHOW ME.

Take me to a vid. where you can see Russians acting like a bunch of under skilled N/A MORONS, & I'll kiss your ass!

  • @hanksnow2 Just because his head snaps back doesn't mean he was hit in the head. He wasn't. Now at 0:24, that was to the head. But at 0:40, not hit in the head.

  • @CaptainPriceLives - if you can see that @ that speed, from that distance, to determine it's not a punch in the face, you should be working @ the re-play desk in Toronto

  • @hanksnow2 If you can't see it, you shouldn't be judging this video, because it's one of the most cut and dry things I've ever seen.

  • Dirty?? Hockey in europe was all skating and VERY little contact....the soviets AGREED to come to the NHL of the 1970s with NHL refs and rules...what did they expect?? Oh yeah, Rick Macleish's BEAUTIFUL breakway and beats of the 'best goalie' in the world was goon hockey?? WOW!! The only reason Montreal didnt beat them was Montreal tried to skate with them. Im sure Larry Robinson wanted to kill someone...

  • @throbbin87 Soviet teams won virtually every single series ever played against NHL teams. The domination was so bad, it is incredible. The only reason shit like this happened is because of a little thing called poor sportsmanship.

  • @12OclockLow flyers reinvented the game making it the toughest sport in the world, your just a pussy

  • @PORKPORKPORKYEAH Haha, I'm a pussy? Yes, I guess since you've met me, you can make that judgement. Not that it takes a whole lot of courage to call someone a pussy on youtube. Do yourself a favour and cut the trash talking. And I couldnt help but glance at your channel... you are 43? I thought as people got older, they gained some sort of respect, or "manners" as they are so often called. And by the way, in terms of toughness, hockey will never compare with boxing anyways, pussy.

  • @12OclockLow Boxing may be all about fighting, but that doesn't make it tougher than hockey, especially 70's hockey. Whereas a boxer is confined to a small ring, hockey players are skating up n down the ice for a whole game. Both sports have rests, but hockey is also a team sport so the load is spread out more. Don't forget the role that full contact plays on the body, and keep in mind that there are more hockey games than boxing matches per player. It all depends on how you define toughness.

  • I could give a shit about this other guy, and i see where your coming from, but to say that hockey cant compare to boxing is a very stupid thing to say. Hockey is a great sport, much better than those pussy ones like soccer, baseball, and basketball (those guys are fags). Hockey players play with injuries and dont hold back. They go until they're 40 and they do it for cheap. BTW boxing is nothing compared to the real martial arts, a boxer can just take more punches, its really a simple sport.

  • @12OclockLow On the street, I'd fight a retarded boxer over a black belt any day. The street is different (no weapons of course), you can kick and grapple too. Unless a boxer is well trained in all martial arts he looses a lot of his advantage when he leaves the ring. Inside the ring is a different story. I'd rather not box a boxer b/c the martial arts use more protection since their moves are intended to cause serious injury. A trained fighter is a trained fighter, just not when u look too deep

  • @12OclockLow That is true i cant tell that you are a pussy but i can tell that you have a lot of time on your hands to sit down and write me a paragraph and read my channel. therefore my trolling has worked me 1 you 0

  • @PORKPORKPORKYEAH I only checked your age... and I type fast. I'm kind of in a good mood right now, and I don't really want to fight you, so I will just leave it at that.

  • @PORKPORKPORKYEAH- Yes, & if I were a poor golfer, I'd reinvent that game!

Just as my opponent was in his swing, I'd go up behind him & whack him with my driver. When he was putting, I'd give a loud yell!!

After 18 holes, I think I'd leave him behind. But of course, he would not be allowed to do the same to me.

  • @hanksnow2 Yes you are correct if being violent in golf really caught on then yeah you would have successfully reinvented the game

  • lmfao this is the only time im enjoying the way flyers play... in soviet russia back street bullies still beet people up

  • im guessing helmets weren't mandatory in thoses days, lol. Damn they were tough back then to. Real hockey player dont have teeth.

  • Can ANYONE show me a clip, where ANY Russian does anything like those @ :08, :25, :34, :40, & :57? And does any N/A do what "K" did @ :03?

  • If Stalin murdered 10's of millions, does this not trump 6 million? Then why in Fk are our children forced to learn about a lessor Holocaust? Why haven't we established museums for those millions of Russians.

Then, how about the millions of N/American Indians that were slaughtered as we 'settled', & renamed the USA? Same with the Mexicans?

How about the Kent State Killings, where is the memorial? The Waco massacre?

The Panama Canal deaths should also have a memorial. Just the tip of the burg

  • @hanksnow2

Stalin and Hitler were different in the ways which they killed people

Stalin killed to gain progress, he wanted russia to be the main super power and the world, and sacrificed 50 million of his own people to get there. Was it justified? No, but he killed people who were going to slow down russia

Hitler targeted Jews, and other ethnic groups and methodically killed them. It wasnt to gain anything, he just killed the jews, and the others minorities just because they were different

  • @hanksnow2 Panama Canal memorial = the Goethals Memorial

    Waco = Mt.Carmel memorial

Kent State = Ken't state's Center for Peaceful Change

Native Americans = Crazy Horse Memorial

    Mexicans = San Jacinto monument

Stalin.... well its hard to make an anti Stalin memorial since he was the leading cause to Germanies downfall in WW2.

  • @hanksnow2 what the fuck man, just watch the hockey i didnt watch this video to relive 8th grade history

  • @GagneCarter1217 - Then,... just watch the vid. It''s still a free country, you don't have to read the comments by me or anyone else!!

But being that you are reading, I would not call this 1 min. vid. an example of hockey. But I can give you a vid. that is a great example of hockey if you like..."CCCP hockey". Have a look @ that clip & see what hockey IS.

  • @hanksnow2 Ok now go bore someone else with this crap, or go make all those ridiculous memorials yourself. Fuckface.

Or just jump in front of a train, pathetic moron.

  • @JaahJeMoeder -Your remarks are that of a looser, & your not even in here.

  • @hanksnow2 Seriously still alive?

You haven't committed suicide over the fact that there might be people being surpressed in the fucking jungle's of let's say fucking Tuvalu?

And i don't know what the fuck you mean with 'Your not even in here' i guess you mean i don't live in the country you do.. What the fuck does that have to do with this, you should feel save now tho. I'd smack your fucking skull on a pre-made memorial for your death if i lived anywhere near you.

  • @JaahJeMoeder & thanks for the kind words, I'll be watching 4 you. What I meant by your not in here, was,.. I went back several pages & couldn't find any comments by you, except your reply to me.

People who start name calling, are usually void of any intelligent rebuke. I don't mind exchanging views but when I respond 2 people like you I tend 2 lower my standard to that of the name caller. But first I turn the other cheek.

Your last sentence is scary though, & mirrors the action in this Vid.

  • @JaahJeMoeder - I just looked @ your page & was very surprised 2 find you R from the Netherlands. I'm going to guess that U were not born there. Your responds is more like a North American Philadelphia Flyer's 1976 hockey team. Could you be a N/A & moved there?

I have always respected the people of Europe cause I believed they were a bit more civilized than we here in N/A. Also thought they were more educated.

Perhaps when you get a little older, U will learn that treating people bad is wrong.

  • Great game. Poor CCCP.

One of the few times I cheered for the Flyers.

  • @klashmaster95- Many years ago there were people put in a ring where they unleashed a bunch of hungry lions at them. There were many people in the stadium, & many of them cheered for the Lions.

This was a similar situation, but in a more recent time, that we consider to be more humane. Of course there are exceptions to almost everything. You fall into exception category(WITH LOTS OF COMPANY), who cheered for the Lions.

But, not your fault, you were had, like so many others...really sad!!

  • Who except Clarke, from this(1976)team was in1983 ,when Flyers loosed to USSR 5-1?Oh,by the way, balance is in the our(Soviet)side.5-1 against 4-1.You should score 1

  • @MrVasilenkoK A.) ITS LOST, AND B.) STYLE OF HOCKEY WAS CHANGING. OH AND C.) THE FLYERS WEREN'T THE TYPE OF TEAM TO LET A BUNCH OF SOVIET FIGURE SKATERS SKATE AROUND THEM LIKE THE REST OF THE NHL DID!!!!

  • (L) the comments have nothing to do with hockey

  • i counted about 14 headshots in this video

  • people that cant play hockey turn into violence... pathetic

  • @sebmenard and they scored 4 goals through violence and not skill? riiiighttt. GO FLYERS

  • K, fight back you dolts.. if they see you don't give a fuck they will continue dumbasses

  • k were do you get off saying Philly was playing dirty it was a different gsme then and hitting was part of it not this sissy game that is played today. They wanted to play the Stanley Cup winning team and they got just that. And As for the Russians being better players i don't know about that they may have advanced puck handleing but as for the whole aspect of the game i belive they have a lot of work to go. Keep the New Game Give me the Old

  • i would hade to be karlamov

  • @WhiteRhinoWeed5 - Right on, me too. But if you were Kharlamov, you would have been a Bobby Orr, Wayne Gretzky, & Crosby, all rolled into one. & You would never be compared to Clarke, Hatcher, Probert, Cooke, Phaneuf, & Pronger! Those were the morons sent on "the mission", to remove him (& others to a lessor degree), from the game. almost forgot, Larry Robinson almost decapitated "K" in Montreal. What a player he was.

There is no other player that drew the attention of so many "Goons"!

  • @hanksnow2 lol ok then i would hate to be karlamov in this game. any other time i would love to be him. there :)

  • @WhiteRhinoWeed5 -I think I know what U mean, but I don't think U realize just how many games he played & received similar treatment, mostly at the hands of under skilled N/Americans.

Back during the "Cold War" days, any Russian was a target, & especially "K". You C, they were much better at the skills of the game, so we beat them (sometimes), with the "Bang & Crash" method, which were against the rules, but, the Officials were bought off, mostly by the "Criminal Eagleson"!

    It would B Best 2 B U

  • @hanksnow2 And you would experience two car accidents and die an early death.

  • @SpraxIAKS - You wan't me to die an early death?...it's a little late for that, I'm over 70 NOW. & btw, "K" died in a car crash. Some have said, it was a hit & run. . It's believed the driver who left the scene, looked a lot like "Bobby Clarke"!

  • Dirty plays? What game were you watching? All four were good hits

  • @feeish What game was I watching, U ask?..I watched the games that side-lined the best player in the NHL this year. His hits were NOTHING to what "K" received. "K" received this kind of treatment EVERY GAME!!!!!!!

Of course I mean every game concerning Goof ball moron N/Americans, & even some Euro's.

You (&most N/A's) were & still consumed with fear & hate, of the Russians. So, really, if N/A's went at them with base ball bats, U & other morons would cheer & applaud, & say What dirty play?

  • @feeish your blind

  • @tonybenn1000 If you can't take a hit then don't play hockey. Especially with a team nicknamed the "Board Street Bullies" because of there physicality.

  • I don't even watch or know that much about Ice Hockey, and communism has nothing to do with the sport, It still looks like the Street Bullies we're a little too over the top and aggressive, even unsportsmanlike

  • пиндосы бля, честно выиграть не могли нихрена...

  • There's nothing "dirty" about that play. That's the way the game was played back then, and still is in the NHL. The rooskies didn't understand and never saw it coming. Nobody went to the Spectrum or the Boston Garden back then and expected a clean friendly Euro style match. The Russians were in over their heads so they took the weenie way out and left the ice.

  • @RichieEastside no the Russians finished the game because not doing so would mean they would not recieve their pay for the beat down, i mean game

  • Dude, if you back in time......this was OLD TYME HOCKEY. NOT the "dirty play" Mario Lemeiux and Cindy Crybaby bitch and whine about nowadays. get a HOCKEY history lesson. Go BSB!

  • I didn't see one dirty play.

  • 2 dirty plays...where are the few.............i dont get it...there where less dirty play then in any flyers game between early 70`and the late 80`s acctually some of the checkings are even cleaner then most body checks today where they have both sticks elbows and glows up and ends it with bringinthe head in jumping.

  • Russia/Afghanistan, Russia/Czchcelslovakia, Russia/East Germany, Russia/Poland, Russia/Hungary, Russia/Japan, Russia/Bulgaria. Please with all of the USA stuff. Plus, unlike the United States Russia went into all of these places and occupied them and put in their own puppet governments in there to run them. North Korea with Russian money and weapons invades the Democratic South and the United States comes to their aid. Same with Vietnam. To attack the United States in that matter is absurd

  • @Seed88 All those countries U mentioned that Russia influenced had no unemployment, no street people, none with out health care. Rent was 5% of a persons income. Complete free education & much more that U don't know about, cause U & your friends were too busy @ the local theater watching John Wayne, Randolf Scott movies. Unless U R younger, then U may fall into the 007, Rambo, Red Dawn category.

    US= Pinochet, & more

The US has OVER 700 Military basses in OVER 150 countries,..SOME FREE-DUMB "A"

  • @hanksnow2 Have you ever lived under communism?

  • @atumbleweeding-No, but I've lived under Capitalism, pretending to be Democratic & Christian. They set U up in your first 12 years of so called Education System, when it is really a "Brain Washing System".

Many parents can hardly afford the so called "Free Ed. Sys."

We started soup kitchens & food banks as a temporary measure some 30 yrs ago & the need goes up each yr.

WTF is going on? Living in the richest part of the world? The Filthy Rich R supported by taxing Min. wage workers! Wake Up!!
