It is so beautiful see Gormley's work lifted through Oxford air, I love walking past it veyday and looking up at it, alhough im sure the people i bump into not looking whereim going dont :P
I miss Dr Ray Noble's lecture and songs at UCL. My happy student days there with those!! I love this song, "Sunburst" which marries well with this special event at Oxford
Well tim, that is why they call oxford the 'city of the dreaming spires'! This term I believe was coined by the poet poet Matthew Arnold in reference to the harmonious architecture of Oxford's university. Now it has new piece to the harmony in the New Man, so we have poetry, architecure and music in harmony in this video.
I hope my dream to study at Oxford University will come true. Exeter College is 4th oldest college where JRR Tolkien, the author of The Lord of the Rings studied. It would be great if I would be able to study in the same library as the one he spent his youth.
Many Oxford students and dons may become healthier by looking at this beautiful piece of art by Antony Gormly in Broad st. They spend a lot of time with their research. They need to look up sometimes.
cool video - Gormley's statue really fits in well with it's location on Broad Street. I think the Oxford skyline could do with something a bit more modern than all the usual old buildings. Shame it isn't a bit bigger though, as you can't really see much of the detail from the street.
My time at Exeter college made my life more meaningful. Great to see this famous work by Antony Gormley hosted by my own college. Exeter is lucky to have such a dynamic Rector. This music 'Sunburst" is moving this iron man beautifully through the air.

It is very nice :) i know that Antony Gormley use his own body as a subject.
There is something peculiar about him.
