@mclarenf101 part of that is true....but this ss version of the Veyron has improoved handling and aerodynamics....but what i don´t like of it is how heavy the c ar is with that HUGE engine! W16 4 turbos, 10 radiators...when german guys can create a bi turbo v10 with like 1300 bhp.

that is why the mclaren impresses me a LOT

the veyron is trash and doesn't even compete with mclaren... They put on that work into the veyron and it call only go 5 MPH faster than the f1 gtr, even with all that electronic garbage put into it... FAIL

Well, you don't seem to understand it is NOT meant to compete with the no-expenses-saved, McLaren F1, which McLaren never really made much profit from.

WHY are you comparing it to the F1? It's their new ENTRY-MODEL, their big seller, meant to compete with Ferrari 458 Italia and Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4.

This is also 4 times cheaper than the F1, and you compare them? Talk about comparing APPLES and ORANGES.

What's next? You compare a Nissan GTR with a Veyron??

First of all the GTR was geared towards racing, and does 220mph at best. So does the rarw F1 LM version (only 5 made).

The regular F1, did 240mph with its rev limiter removed in 1998. Although that is still the fastest naturally aspirated car ever made, Bugatti's Veyron did an electronically limited 253mph (to preserve the tires from shredding). Also, you seem to be totally oblivious to the fact that the Veyron is rock stable at top speed, whereas taking the McLaren there was scary.

The Veyron SS did 269,8mph (in one direction, the rerurn was slightly slower) in July 4'th 2010, or have you missed that?

Sure, there are cars able to match Veyron's top speed. But none in such a undramatic manner, even Captain Slow (hardly a good driver) can take it to its top speed. All other hypercars are death traps for regular drivers at those speeds.

It's all numbers for you isn't it?? Not the big picture??

@BooMers232 Break steer is when the inside wheel has it's breaks applied creating drag, which slows the tire down and causes the car to turn. The Nissan GT-R also does this.
