If only the final battle could have ended at 1:16 or something; that way the conclusion feels natural and smooth. It just doesn't work when you have a "OH SHI--" surprise final battle in under five or four minutes.

I'm not sure whether others share the same view or not but that's how I feel.

Well, you can't say you hate it, if you didn't see it. I never saw Season 4, so I can't say if it's good or not. Season 5 isn't that good, and I haven' seen enough episodes of season 6, but it's so-so. Season 3 and Season one are my favorite, hands down. :)

Well, I have to say that goat guy was pretty easy to take down. All in all, I don't know if this was a very good movie, but it had Guilmon, Terriermon, Renamon, and Culumon doing stuff I like to see them do, and a few things I didn't expect from them, so that's nice. Still, there are some nonsensical things I didn't get, so I'm not sure if I like it.

@samh97531 Yeah, that was one of the many aspects of this movie that confused me. Also, what's with the ending? So, that's it? They reach the surface of the water and it ends there? I thought there'd be a bit more closure, like how Ruki and Renamon were going to get back how, or how to explain to Ruki's grandmother and mother why she was suddenly out there with Takato and Jen.

@AnimeFan4900 um, they probably did combine. My guess would be something along the lines of the first movie and Omnimon/Omegamon situation only without the dramatic joining of kids from all over the internet.

Actually looking at the release date for the movie with the series progression to that point they all had just hit ultimate form--technically the episode where Renamon achieves her ultimate aired after the movie did, so it would have been new at the time.

@AnimeFan4900 For the sake of argument though, it wouldn't have work for them to go to mega anyway (plotwise or via digivolution). The first point being that they had just saved the day and really the mega, mephistomon was just chump change as far as the story was concerned. On the purely technical/digivolution level, ultimate to mega doesn't work. Look at warp digivolving in the first season, Agumon and Gabumon go from their rookie level to mega--not ultimate to mega.

That was awesome! I don't get why people find it unrealistic that three perfect level Digimon with Tamers could deafeat Mephismon. The Chosen may not have been able to, but the Tamers are stronger and their Digimon have much more experience. Also this is another world than the Adventure one. The rules from Taichi's world don't apply here. Infact he himself is only a charater from a tv show in the Tamers' world. This movie didn't suck in my opinion, and neither did the ending.
