She took her kids+ Elvis's child in her tummy,down to Dallas- her car abandoned in snow to fake her death to get away from her 'husband'. The relationship was complex, all the love in the world isn't going to make a young healthy desireable woman wait and wait and wait. His fans were his first true love! Back in 1977 (April 28), my wife snared a ticket to see Elvis at the Brown County Arena. She loved Elvis more than me. After the concert, she refused all my overtures to make love, saying she had a headache, or she was too tired, or she was not in the mood. I sensed that the reason she ignored me was soley because of Elvis's sexuality and good looks which of course I didn't possess. That was fine with me because that year I caught more fish and played more golf than in the last five years.

Its very hard to listen to the emotion ELVIS shares with us in this particular song and its hard to keep resentment out of your heart at Priscilla because she hurt him so badly with M Stone. But the fact of the matter is Priscilla wasen't the one who kept Graceland and Elvis possessions everything was left to LISA NOW lets give credit where credit is DUE. If it wasen't for LISA MARIE. the charitable foundations would never have continued because I don't know of anything ELVIS left to Priscilla.

We just came back from Graceland....so happy that we had a chance to celebrate Elvis 75th...today August, 16th..2010 at Graceland...it was gorgeous..my hubby is a big fan of Elvis...we really had a wonderful time...so grateful to be there and to be able to learn more about the great Legend...The Late ELVIS PRESLEY..we will always love you..!!

They loved each other very much...but they had marital problems obviously...for one E never gave up his escapades with women after he got married. Very sad ! They seemingly did love each other....and I think the fact of losing her ..caused his death be it from drugs or a broken heart (after all he didn't have a wooden one !!!) Elvis was very special and fame did not fit on his shoulders ...but destroyed him and his family.

Elvis was taking prescription drugs, and was being given heavy pain meds like Dilaudid and Demerol plus a heavy schedule of sleeping meds to knock him out. I blame the greedy doctos and the "enablers" around Elvis. I agree that most of the movies and books place all the blame on Elvis, and this is why this is still happening today. Elvis's doctor was brought up on charges for over prescribing to 14 people, but got off until he was caught still doing it in 95!

This has always been one of my most favorite ballads. Elvis sings ballads better than anyone. It's such a very gorgeous ballad. It should have been a hit for Elvis. Elvis has hundreds of hidden treasures. The vast majority of people have no clue that Elvis recorded this many very magical songs. All of those photographs were so very exquisite.
