Tried it earlier. First free life I picked up, IT WORKED! Next one, sound stopped working. Finishing Andy Asteroids, sound stopped working. Same as before, except by fluke the first life didn't trigger the glitch. Weird.
As I said before, something tells me there's different versions for every release of the game. I have the very first release, big box and all. If I see the game in a bargain bin, I'll see if it works any better.
After seeing how smooth Painkiller Overdose ran, and with a dual core processor, I was thinking the same thing. ;) PC vids would record so well on this new puter.
Better quality vids? Dunno, I still have my old capture card. I might have to fiddle with it to see how much better the quality can get without upgrading.
I loved PK and BOOH for sure, as well as Hell Wars. I've only played a couple levels of Overdose, so I can't pass judgment on it yet. Killing new enemies is awesome.
Love the "new" weapons I got so far. The Crossbow/Skull Launcher (okay, Boltgun/Heater) is too fun. :)
Blasting large groups of enemies in new locales is still fun, but I have to admit I'm in to way as impressed as the other PK games. After I beat Overdose, I doubt I'll play through it again.
I managed to complete 2 or 3 levels of Overdose until i gave up, it doesn't have that good o'l PK feeling with awesome levels,monsters,weapons and the epic music.
After the first episode, the levels are VERY freaking cool. I'm partways through Village of the Damned right now, but had to come to work. I really want to go back home and play some more. :P

It's short for Painkiller's expansion, Battle Out of Hell. It's another 10 levels, 2 new weapons, and a whole bunch of new weapons.

Well, I still have yet to finish Dead Marsh with the Razorcube for the card. It's very painful. I enjoyed the first few levels though...
