  • what are you using for the remote controls is it just the default program from the computer?

  • @M8E8L: There is no remote control here, the program moves automatically (turns around when it sees the black line).

  • Regular old tape. The light sensor searches for the tape, and then it turns around.

  • No. Electrical tape is just tape you use for taping things like frayed cords. It is black so I was wondering if that was electrical tape.

  • why is everyone saying awesome robot? This is lame. We used this kind of robot in Comm Class. All it is doing is using the laser to recognize the black tape. Then rotates and goes another way. There is no logic there is no intelligence. Id mark this a 50% if it was an assignment in my class.

  • this is pretty much like brute force sumo,would be better to put the sonic sensor in the wall and chase the closest thing.

  • Sounds like you need to calibrate your light sensor, as it thinks it is seeing black right away (and all the time). Check the web site for a calibration program and instructions on how to use it.
