Very good question. I dont know how accurate it is but I use a program called The Sky. I once used it to track the exact position of the Moon the very moment of the Tunguska Blast in 1908. At that moment my great grandfather recorded the position of the moon, and his location in his journal. Anyway, The Sky program appeared to be right on target.
The traverse of the Sun and Moon through the sky is not normal. Can anyone plot it's position hour by hour for as long as possible?
Both are often in the wrong place in the sky. Why?
