Can someone please answer me this: is the combo Sentinel does on Ryu starting at 1:21 rollable at the end because if Sentinel can land that OTG down rocket punch off that combo every time, that's crazy. The way I see it, Sent does air combo fast fly to continue the combo, ends with j.C, lands and does the OTG rocket punch into the energy ball super and towards the end of that super he might be able to X-Factor and relaunch to start the combo over again or do another super for crazy damage.

Phoenix can infinitely regenerate to full HP after "Dark Phoenix Rise" if she is switched out while she looses HP when in, you just have to keep the opponent away with assists and projectiles which Dark Phoenix can do since she has easily spammable double homing shots, a flame trap on the ground against rushers, can cover the upper half of the screen with Phoenix shot, teleport to gain distance and her Super is fullscreen. A skilled player can range out and keep healing back still it is risky.
@minomininni Yeah, but only when you have 5 levels of hyper. Don't worry. You saw the damage Ryu did to her? If you can kill her quickly, she won't be much of a threat. Also, her health slowly goes down when she's Dark Phoenix.
@2hAfk Consider the fact that she revives and becomes significantly more powerful and she's pretty well balanced. You have to be very careful with her.

So from what I've seen, Phoenix arrives as soon as Jean Grey dies. Then if you switch her out she can heal. But if she is fighting death is slowly creeping up, and a combo is practically death. I like it, it reminds me of Jin's last ditch aggressive move when his life is almost gone.

I know you said "almost" but don't speak for everyone or for a mass of people. All characters who get in have their own individual fanbases. Including Sentinel. This is the type of game that gets ALOT of different fanbases.

Phoenix can infinitely regenerate to full HP after "Dark Phoenix Rise" if she is switched out while she looses HP when in, you just have to keep the opponent away with assists and projectiles which Dark Phoenix can do since she has easily spammable double homing shots, a flame trap on the ground against rushers, can cover the upper half of the screen with Phoenix shot, teleport to gain distance and her Super is fullscreen. A skilled player can range out and keep healing back still it is risky.

@minomininni Yeah, but only when you have 5 levels of hyper. Don't worry. You saw the damage Ryu did to her? If you can kill her quickly, she won't be much of a threat. Also, her health slowly goes down when she's Dark Phoenix.

Wow, you talk as if you're a developer or expert of some sort. Do YOU own the fucking game? That's a lame statement. Staged fights? No. I'm talking about actual fights on MvC2 both in the arcade years ago and on XBLA. Sentinel's hit placement on opponents always connected even though they were off. You're a tool w/ too much time on your hands. Clean up your room in your parent's basement & move on with your life instead of feeling the need to respond to every single person's post on this video.

So from what I've seen, Phoenix arrives as soon as Jean Grey dies. Then if you switch her out she can heal. But if she is fighting death is slowly creeping up, and a combo is practically death. I like it, it reminds me of Jin's last ditch aggressive move when his life is almost gone.

And if we went soley by "who has the biggest fanbases", this game would turn into "Xmen vs Street Fighter 2: co-starring Megaman and Spiderman", a path that I personally would hate. Which is why I'm glad Capcom doesn't go that route.
Cyclops was blocked by Marvel specifically.

@CylonDorado It's a fighting game. It's supposed to have martial arts characters. Having a fighting game with no Martial Arts is like have a Nascar race with no Drivers. But there's more important "people" in Marvel than a Sentinel, whose not even a person. Just one of many robots.

@Mysterious0Bob If gameplay came first, then the damn Sentinel wouldn't be in this game. It's based on a fanbase outside of the game, in which sentinel is sorely outclassed by other characters. A lot of characters were popular inside the game, Like Cable, Cyclops, or Capt. Commando. But they didn't make it back now, did they?
