what do you mean the latest print on QR's 77L? you mean the whole Oryx thingy is on the TAIL? unlike the one at 1:33? :)) i kinda noticed it... and yeeah ITS UGLY :D

@truly0phinoy I really like the one in 1:33 on the A320... the one on the 77L is th same but slightly zoomed out so the burgendy color is not down to the APU like the A320 (which is not so nice in my opnion).. if you compare the A320, A321 and 777 you will see the at the logo os the same...

The oldest one - its small and zoomed out (A321)

The current one - zoomed in (A320)

The most recent one - in the middle (777)

@hmasurg yeah Saw it :) but still it looks kinda better if the color of the tail reaches the body of the Plane :D But .... the most nicest Livery of QR that i have seen was the DOHA 2006 :D Too sad no 777s were painted.. and i think that livery is gone, haven't seen that livery from latest pics and vids.

The inside look quiet nice. Does a transit airport bus is a must for passenger to get to the aeroplanes?

By the way, where is Doha?

@applesweeter Doha is the capitol of qatar one of the countries along the arabian gulf. Transit to airplanes are all by bus unless you are travelling business or first on qatar airways then you will be whisked to your plane in a BMW.

Doha is totally dominated by Qatarairways,very little presence of other carriers like British airways,Biman,Gulfair or Lufthansa..same feeling in Dubai. Doha airport get very crowded at night, overflowing with transit passangers..SV should use the same model..before I flew Qatarairways I had hardly heard of Qatar except for AlJazeera..after flyimg Qr a couple of times my eyes are more opened.

@am1966ath BA, LH, KL among other do operate to DOH usually at late evening but all in all it is definitely a QR airport. The whole persona of QR is to advertise themselves as well as Qatar as a business center like the Dubai model if you will. No doubt that doha needs to open it's new airport and fast and once that happens traffic will go even higher.

@hmasurg Qatar has done an excellent job and probably taken passangers from the european and asian carriers on the route between europe and far east. I prefer transiting Doha over Heathrow or Frankfurt any day. Dubai is laso to a large etxent an EK airport.

The power of advertisment should not be under estimated..who had heard of Doha, outside of middle east some twenty years ago???

@am1966ath Absolutely. even other GCC nationals would not have travelled to Qatar unless for a specific reason. Now the country is more and more on the map. Many publicity projects have and continue to be undertaken to permote qatar including the 16th Asian games, bid for the 2022 world cup and the for-coming asian AFC championship among many other business and things seem to grow. Therr target is in sight.

@hmasurg the same I think applies to Dubai,Dubai was a refueling stop in 1988 for BA and SIA B747S from Asia to Europe..today Dubai is a mix of Las Vegas,Newyork

and Shanghai..thats due a lot to the success and growth of Emirates. Who would think in 1989 of going on a shoppping trip,golf-holiday and gourme journey to Dubai??

@hmasurg I have seen BA 777 late at night at Doha,also Lufthansa 330 but they seems marginal, I think that QR has something like 3-4daily flights from London alone. For me the good thing is that flying with QR enriches my lufthansa frequent miles card.

@am1966ath True you can get some miles if you fly QR just like what I did in 2007. Now they send the A346 to DOH (via RUH).

This is my 1st glimpse of Doha airport..those Qatar Airways planes look great..have you flown in them?..i presume more videos of your DOH-RUH flight are in the making and it'l be great to watch them..thumps up..

@timecop73 Oddly enough I have only flown QR on short haul routes back in 2007 RUH-DOH-MCT-DOH-RUH back in 2007. I enjoyed it although one needs to fly long haul to get a feel of the airline and services. What I do remember that although it were short flights the in-flight meal service (although simple snacks) were obviously of higher quality than the completion (and more expensive).
