  • When is it best to use gum paste or fondant? I want to put a skyline design around the border of a cake, and I'm not sure whether to use gum paste or fondant. Help anyone?

  • Does anyone know if the gumpaste wire and tape by Wilton is safe to insert into cakes?

  • How long do these flowers last in the refrigerator?

  • @DecoratingCakes101 For the record though you started insulting me right away. The golden rule applies here, treat others how you would be treated, you were insulting, I retaliated. If someone had come onto one of your videos and called them creepy, you would have went off like a 200 ton bomb on them for it, just like you did on me for calling you on it here. I apologize for the last comment yesterday where I insulted your videos, they are alright, and that comment was out of line.

  • @Raven1024 Dont care. I think Im mature enough to know that fighting with YOU IS a waste of time. That is all

  • @DecoratingCakes101 Also threatening me and insulting me further won't get you anywhere. Because the threat doesn't scare me, and the insults I'm just going to ignore from here on out. I'm not a hater, I replied in kind to hate I was given from you.

  • I have to agree, numbering would be helpfull :)

  • I hate expertvilliage clips...u can't even call them videos b/c of minute-less videos...n COMMERCIALS! And most of them are not EXPERTS!

  • they are numbered idiots theres 15 of them

  • @Solkek Where does it say nr 1 and so on? I have seen that there are 15 but in what order do they come?

  • Would be nice if they numbered these videos so that they could be viewed in order!!!

  • how long does it take the gum paste flowers to dry?

  • does the ball on the ball tool roll ?

  • Perhaps this should have been titled GETTING READY to make Sugar Gum Paste Flowers. I didn't see any flowers being made. Duh!

  • All of the videos in this series are called "How to Make Sugar Gum Paste Flowers". You need to read her sub-title to find out what the clip is going to explain, eg.: ""What is Gum Paste?"

  • Is this sticky when working with it? I have used m. fondant to make flowers, and its kinda sticky when I put the petals on. These flowers are soooo pretty!

  • helpful thankz, im making plain hearts

  • Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for, a great tutotial series!

  • wow this was unhelpfull

  • yes u can eat this stuff

  • just like cata, can you eat this stuff?? please reply!!

  • Yup...it's edible...but its not "eat"-able...if you know what I mean...because it's pure sugar. I'd would rather spend my sugar count on an ice cream than this lovely flowers....that took you a lifetime to model.

    SmiL3(^_-)...

  • yes but its not very tasty at all

  • can you use fondant instead of gum paste to make these flowers?

  • no. it is not nearly as elastic

  • but can you still use it?even though its not gonna turn out good?

  • You can use whatever you want, if you want "edible" flowers to look real, use gum paste. Fondant and marzipan will make it look dull.

  • can you eat the gum flower's ?
