I remember in the mid 90's, reading about these Alco's in trains magazine . St Luc shops, {hope that's right} in Canada and the sad story of the shop folks going through the Alco fleet seeing which locomotives still had life in them.
Yes, they lost the air in the train due to a kinked line in a well car, had to switch it out for repairs. Believe me, this was a 2 hour delay edited to 8 minutes................
