Hope your heart is healing well. Your piece was macabre, but it's also a reminder that Christmas is not always the most joyous occasion for most (my Grandfather died around Christmas when I was in 4th grade, so it can be bittersweet for me). Like Dolly said, "it's like a Hard Candy Christmas. I'm barely getting through tomorrow, but I won't let sorrow bring me way down."
@feitocomfruta I've lost a lot of folks around Christmastime. It's sad, and makes the holidays bittersweet, but there's really no time of year that's good for death. The earliest deaths I had to deal with oriented around summer, and made the sunny weather seem darker. Thankfully, there's something cathartic about doing things like chalking a macabre Santa skull.
