  • all i cn say is praise be to the lord !!!!!!wen u listen to ths song u forget all the problems of ths world,a glimpse of heaven ........beautiful.

  • @cathie20111 Yes the sound of heaven, thanks for visiting!

  • What a truly beautiful, tender song. Thank you for posting!

  • @daughterofRMS Yes it really is, thanks for visiting!

  • Cannot tell you how many times I have sang this in church through the years! Wow! Thank you for posting such a beautiful song!

  • @WindyCityDeeJ Thanks for taking the time Denise, of course I was thinking of our service men and woman who have to deal with war and then come home and try to be normal again.

  • This is truley abeautiful song, and sung by a very wonderful performer. He sings from his heart. Would love to hear more of his music.

  • @grammiegreer1 He is an amazing talent, thanks for visiting!

  • In the long run, what does it matter what you "truly" believe? Either you're right, or you're wrong. If I believe in a God who spoke the universe into creation, and asks me to Believe on the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and I will be saved, and them I'm wrong, what have I hurt? However, if I'm right in my belief, I have eternity to be thankful. If I believe in nothing, and truly do believe, and I'm wrong...I have all eternity to regret it.

  • @Strumstick_Joe I have seen your comments on more than one Christian song. Satan uses remarks like yours to cause people to question their belief in God, and I for one will not read any more of them, because I listen to these beautiful hymns to be uplifted. I can only hope that while posting maybe, just maybe, you actually do listen to the songs, and perhaps the great and wonderful love of Jesus can pierce the wall you have allowed satan to build around you. I pray you come to know God's love.

  • @HappyKattt Just happened upon your comment, because it didn't reach me direct.

I listen to very little of the music; while the tunes are occasionally very good, the words and arrangements are sycophantic and rather worrying.

Slaves who must love their master - that would be the definition of christians.

If you love whom you fear, then you are on the road of sado-masochism.

There is no satan - imagine that!

  • @StrumstickJoe I can only tell you my experience. I'm a typical PK and spent most of my life trying to run from God. I had had enough "religion". I was in a black hole, miserable, with no way out. U don't believe in miracles but I can tell you beyond any shadow of a doubt the fact that I am still alive is a miracle. U don't believe in satan but I have felt his power and control. It was God's LOVE, not FEAR, that changed my life. I am no slave. I love God because he loves me and saved me.

  • @HappyKattt Please do not assume that I am "running from" anything. A-theist means without a god.

Anti-theist means (not very accurately) against the idea of the existence of a god, and religion.

That we are all still alive is against the odds - but I don't believe in miracles.

I do not disparage your past problems or your escape from them - in fact I congratulate you. But I think you should take the credit yourself, religion was only the catalyst. Now you're free, you can shed it. Peace.

  • @HappyKattt Please read my posts - I have tried to be sincere, and covered a lot of the objections to non-belief.

    I don't get PK.

I am here for the same reason as a leaf, or a stone, or a planet, and my destiny is the same as those things.

That makes me happy enough. Despite my importance today, and my sentience, I am no more than a transient happening."

Your need for a “reason” leads you to a contrived “cause”

Then you have to invent a “guilt” and the need for “salvation"

    It is not necessary.

  • @StrumstickJoe who r u trying to convince..us o urself?we already know what to expect.webliv in Jesus coz he first blvd in us by dying on e cross.what if u r wrng n there happens to b heaven what then?e fact tht there is so much curiosity in u shows a part of u wants what we hv n Jesus hs heard ur cry so tk tym 2 listen 2 hs still small voice.we choose who we wnt 2 b n God has givn us tht freedom.if u hv lov 4 smone u dnt FEAR u respect thus we respect our father...thnk abt it!

  • Is god able to prevent war, crime, torture, pain and natural disasters but not willing? Then he is malevolent.

Is he willing, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he both able and willing? Then why do they happen?

Is he neither able nor willing? Then why do you believe in him?

  • @StrumstickJoe Free Will. Not easy, but there you have it. It's up to us. He supplied all we need to make it work. Are you doing your part? I'm trying to do mine.

  • @lovingtheoldtunes

If that explains why you believe, then there is a considerable part of your logic circuit missing.

I'm doing my (small) part in life by ridiculing this primitive faith in magic and mysticism and imaginary "friends" who apparently fry you till your eyes pop!

Find peace and clarity here on earth because there's nowhere else for you, no matter how much you wish there is.

I personally am eternally thankful there's no afterlife.

  • This is haunting and beautiful. Not easy to explain faith to another person. Not easy to always embrace it. Something like electical current. Real, powerful, present.

Sometimes when we step beyond our own needs and views great and wonderful experiences occur.

  • @sincit1

    Coincidences occur.

    Wishful thinking occurs.

Beautiful soft-focus imagery occurs - along with seductive, sycophantic, preaching and singing.

The universe is wonderful and awesome.

    But miracles do not occur.

    Haunting does not occur.

Neither did god, jesus and the holy sprite.

Peace on earth to all hominids.

  • Will someone to explain to me what “he died for my sins” means; because if “he” died, it was 2,000 years before my first sin. I honestly don’t get it, it requires double-think, and a time-shift. It requires that I imagine myself to be guilty of another’s misdemeanour 4 thousand years earlier than the killing. I find human sacrifice repulsive. At the moment, you see, I am firmly of the opinion that the religious texts are myth, fantasy and lies, and I chose those words carefully.

    Peace on earth.

  • @StrumstickJoe Thanks for visiting.....kindly

  • @StrumstickJoe He gave us the right to make our own decisions, therefore he knew we were going to sin, he died for our sins so that we could live eternally with him and be forgiven.

  • @Krodaka1

I don't believe jesus existed (that is very unlikely) and I certainly don't believe god exists.

(I might as well make it a hat-trick and deny the holy sprite while I'm at it!)

Therefore everything you said in your post is complete and utter rubbish to me.

I wish you a long and happy life, and assure you that that is all you are going to get.

So don't devalue it by thinking there's a follow-on, and don't waste it grovelling to imaginary friends.

    Peace on earth.

  • Dear Mr/s StrumstickJoe,

I would suggest you return to Sunday school and pay attention. Your shallowness in faith education is showing. You could start with Romans for your answer.

  • @Bulthistle Let me say clearly - and think about this, because it might be subtle:

Reading the bible only results, for me, in massive disbelief that anybody can take it seriously - let alone form their moral code from its primitive doctrines.

Therefore, it would be rather pointless for someone to refer me to the bible in order to get me to believe the bible, wouldn't it?

Religion is demeaning to the human race, with its primitive belief in a creator and "lord" to whom you must grovel'

    Peace.

  • Thank you Daniel for this Beautiful song well sung! May the Lord's divine ANOINTING rests upon You Richly! You have an angelic voice and I LOVE IT. Keep these awesome songs flowing constantly! God Bless!

  • @TheSamuel1270 Thanks for visiting, take care!

  • somebody inform this jesus guy that 22.000 children die every day

  • @Samura1gamer

God already knows that 8,000,000 kids die every year, (it's a bit higher at this moment, actually) because he knows everything. He kills them off because they are born evil, and they will now be tortured for ever in hell because of that unforgivable sin they have all committed.

It might sound sadistic and totally evil-minded to you, but.....

    (Actually it is, isn't it?)

  • @StrumstickJoe Thank you joe,i was having problems overcoming this terrible fact that MILLIONS and MILLIONS of children die every year despite the obvious existence of a God who loves us all. Of course, those children have committed the unforgivable sin of eating (even though most die from starvation) forbidden fruits 6000 years before they were born.It was so obvious

the wolrd makes perfect sense now.My faith is strong again. Thanks and God bless you

  • @Samura1gamer That's OK Dude!

If I can help somebody as I pass along.....
