lol flip, at impact his hands are in front of the ball, he's got the shaft leaning forward, and took a divot (that's what she said jokes are too easy on this comment)
@DFORCE8228305 i turn my hips. the x-factor is a load of garbage. you can hit a ball off your left leg only if you try. it seems to me it's hard to naturally make your hips unwind if they were never wound up in the first place. the sooner you learn to stop listening to the pga manual and start listening to the feedback your body gives you, the better off you'll be. we're all different, so we all can't swing the same.
That is so he can complete his swing and reach his backswing with a full shoulder turn. If not he woud get blcoked up and would hit itvery short. The only thing he need sto make sure is to rotate his hips to the left again in the downsing
the one thing all the pros do and oberall its the most important part of the golf swing is keeping there heads down, lift your head u will fuck up the shot
@07charlestyra well guys like nick faldo are a specal case in general, the main reason he can do that is because it would be a part of his swing, most people who lift there head will not hit down on the ball because from what i have seen that cause you to hit higher up on the ball to (you raise the club slight but in gold a inch is a mile)
like tadda 11 said when he starts downsing he transfers his potential energy to mechanical energy due to his hands bringin club down, and accelerates a lot...just after impact potential energy starts increasing again. And the potential energy at his finish is anormous from all the mechanical energy that transformed to potential form the 115 mph downsing
@guitskate215 ys i know what you mean....do you notice that he shifts his hip from left to right does that make more power of does it just help the arms to folow through more smoothly?
He is transferring potential energy into kinetic energy. In other words, it's a power move. It can only be done to a point, after which the swing becomes flippy.
yea that's why you can see him squat most of the time he drives or maybe when he irons. Basically he builds all his strength and when he swings down the energy he built up is moved to the golf club, that's why he hits it quite hard and goes far. Also, he has a remarkable turn when he swings haha
once you are used to hitting w/ flat left wrist then all you do is manipulate it on the followthrough to change ball flight. or hit cuts and hooks. It is the elite players "secret"
Not scooping because he has a flat left wrist at impact. I think he's just steering the club with his hands to compensate for a fade. His hips are fast and it puts his arms out in front of his body and he can't release naturally.

Looks almost like it.

Where do you see a "scoop"? Looks like a near-perfect release to me.
emncaity 3 years ago
your right, there is no scoop, as long as the left wrist is bowed it cant be scooped
proslayar 3 years ago 3
Looks like he is letting his hips turn alot more on the backswing.
