  • When you are going for the low kick at the end, are you aiming above or below the knee?

  • send me more fight vids

  • a bit cheesy to call it Thai-ju jitsu. no doubt those 2 styles can be combined very effectively (all top MMA fighters have trained muay thai and some form of grapling like BJJ for example)

i just dont hope this trainer is making up his own 'new' system called thai-ju jitsu, in order to become famous. there is nothing new in mixing those 2 styles

  • Muay Thai and BJJ comblination is the basic needed in all MMA fighters sir :P

  • you are not very well informed - "ninjutsu" is also called goshin-TAIjutsu or budo-TAIjutsu etc. nothing new. ninjas went all over asia to improve their fighting skills, somebody must have called it taijutsu at some point then...Masaaki Hatsumi brought "Ninjutsu" out of Japan, check his website or wikipedia and you will know better ;)

  • i have never said anything about ninjitsu so how am i not informed?

the reason why they call the style in this video 'thai-jitsu' is because they mix brazilian jiujitsu and muay thai. and there is nothing new about that just as i said. remember there is a difference between 'thai' and 'tai'

read my comment next time before you reply :)

  • since asians don't use roman letters do you really think one can argue about spelling t(h)ai with/without "h"? Same thing with ju-jutsu or jiu-jutsu. You probably are right though (just checked his website) that it is kind of lame to give people the impression that he invented sth new. Mixing styles is something very common for many martial arts. what i meant with ninjutsu was, that there actually is no such thing. ninjutsu is more of a mixture of many styles, such as taijutsu for example...

  • And you think you're cool becauso you can take somebody down? :D

  • why do you try to bring him on the ground..stay on your feet like a man!

  • all the guy on the left needed to do was put the other leg back for support. none of these videos r fair fights, they dishonor real martial arts.

  • ok... this wat poor... maybe it is good in real life, i dot know. but this looked poor.

  • the name dosent matter as long as the martial art is effective and the school has good trainers

  • Luis, on a serious note- is there such a thing as Thai kickboxing. Huge fan of B.J Penn and BJJ, but trying to learn about other styles. I've boxed and screwed around with TKD, what is the most practical art to learn punch-kick combo's that incorporates takedown and submission skills all together-is there such a thing?

  • so... if I combine ninjitsu with karate what I have? karajitsute? for love to god.. please!!! thats ridiculus...

  • He is just doing what is expected of a jujitsu fighter. You can kick and punch in jujitsu, you know?

This dude is just trying to capitalized by claiming that he has the best of both worlds....loser.

Stay away from instructors who use gimmicks. Guarantee you're gonna get hurt

  • there is not such thing as thai jiu jitsu... there is muaythai and there is jiu jitsu... if you know both, then you know muaythai and you know jiu jitsu... that dosent mean that you know thai ju jitsu!!! and by the way is not "ju jitsu" is jiu-jitsu... and dont know what to think about a person who teach something that calls thai -jiu jitsu... that dont even know how is the right spelling for that word! poor students.
